Xaphania's Artwork 2.0

Here's my second attempt at the banner for my new fic, and I'm much happier with this one. It fits the story so much more and I just think it looks a lot better overall.

Any comments or thoughts would be lovely!

I think I almost fainted. It's stunning. but like edb said - sad and sort of wistful. I like that about it though. And you make things seem so - shiny? There's definitely a cool kind of glow.

Oh wow! This is simply beautiful!

You are easily one of the most talented fanartist I have ever come across.

I think wistful is the perfect expression.
 
wow...thats great! I love how there is beauty in sadness. i need to learn how to do this kind of stuff. hopefully i can be as talented as you!

Hm, so much for making lots of art during the downtime! I did, however, write a fair bit. Almost 6,000 words into the fic that the banner posted above is for.

Art-wise, all I did was revamp my livejournal with a new header and layout. I wanted something clean and easy to read, with nice, light colours. This is the header - though it's little more than a screencap that I've cleaned up (as best I could!) and coloured.

Though with that face, I don't really need to do much more! The only problem is that now, whenever I go to LJ, I find myself distracted for some time, hee.

Oh - and a matching icon and FO banner...

That has to be one of my all-time pictures of Spike. So peaceful-looking! Nicely done! 🙂
