Two variations on the same wallpaper, now. It's been raining pretty much all day here so that's where my inspiration came from. I know that you can't have .gif as a desktop wallpaper so that one's really just to look at. 😀 And I haven't done a rain animation for a while, so...

Absolutely beautiful as always! Your images are always so consistently brilliant and beautiful to look at. I love the rain effect, so gentle and soft and it matches the images and feel of the wallpaper perfectly. I wish I could have a .gif as my wallpaper now!

How do you get your animated wallpapers to still be such high quality? When I try to do animated wallpapers they always come out looking grainy.

Hm, I have no idea LOL. I just use the highest quality settings my program allows. I use Jasc Animation Shop 2 - it's ancient (came with Paint Shop Pro 6 years ago) but it gets the job done.

I made this for the banner contest at seasonal_spuffy on livejournal. I was told today that it was chosen to be the community header. Yay! 😀 So now that it's actually up and the contest is closed, I can post it here.

It's animated, so it might need a little longer to load.
