XFactor UK 2016

Starts on Saturday at 8pm 😀 super excited as I am every year! Sad but I don't care. I have emotional attachments to the show and will keep watching it till it annoys me lol.

So the auditions start Saturday...can't wait... I wonder what delights and disasters are in store for us this year.

The only singing show I watch is The Voice (US) and even then only the auditions. I sometimes watch audition clips of other shows too (Got Talent/X Factor).

Love The Voice UK it's moved to itv now and on next year I think.

Well watching this thread expand over about one page is going to be surreal considering we're on a Buffy forum😉 I might chip in with the odd snappy comment which figures crossed won't give away my lack of knowledge😀

It's back? Already? That means it's getting close to christmas and I'm so not ready for that! I usually watch the auditions but tend to give up after that unless someone really catches my eye

The Voice US is coming back soon too. I like the auditions cause it's neat seeing people live out their dreams even if for just a short while.
The problem for me is after that the rest of 'singing shows' stuff happens and I'm just not into that. 🙁

We talk about plenty of other shows, and movies, that are non Buffy related, so I don't see why it'd be surreal. Unnecesary.

Well that's what they're doing. Mind you I was talking more about The Voice (or good auditions). The Voice screens their singers, so there shouldn't be (not that there aren't) bad auditions. Unlike all the others (especially Idol) where there are some who watch just to see the bad auditions. I like watching good auditions to see people momentarily living out their dream. 🙂

I'd rather be out doing something but I don't mind sticking the X Factor on if I've got nothing better to do. Honey G was brilliant. Exactly the kind of thing a good group of mates would come up with to amuse themselves.

Slightly chuffed, Jahmene Douglas from a previous XFactor is following me on twitter (even if it is only for a brief moment in time) and I have his signed album now 😀

Anyone that knows me knows I was rooting for him to win (he came 2nd to James Arthur).

Anyway now I'm rooting for Matt this year now.
