Does anyone else here think that Willow and Xander would have been the best 'ship? Since season 1 I always wanted for them to hook up, but then fell in love with the poeple they started dating, but looking back now I think that they would have been wonderful together.
Especially if they stayed together throughout the entire seasons and had babies :cheering: But somehow Oz, Anya and Tara came into the show as well 🙂 Anyway thats just my little fantasy lol
 
Interesting thought, I think they were cute together but I didn't see them match together for long term, it would just have been weird. I see them more as big brother and younger sister later in the seasons.

I did root for Xillow through the first half of the series ("What's wrong with that guy? is he blind???"), but I very much prefer gay Willow (with Tara, or hypothetically with Fred, or as both of these are dead now :sigh: with some other girl but Kennedy). I'd have preferred Xillow to Ozlow any old day, but nothing could beat Tillow, period. 🙂
 
i used to want them to get together now and felt so sorry for xander realizing too late (becoming part 2) and she wakes up saying "oz"

Back in the beginning of the show, I was SO pro-Willow/Xander, mainly because it mirrored the relationship I had with my best guy friend almost exactly. And if they had actually gotten together (I don't really count their little fling in season 3 as "getting together"), I probably would have liked them even more. But I love Oz, Tara, and Anya as well, so I'm happy with the way things turned out.
 
I also hoped they would end up together, and their little affair in season three had me on the floor.
 
i am glad they didnt just let the attraction the two of them had just lie there and never happen, tho i didnt want them to be together for good.
 
For the first two seasons, I was anxiously awaiting the day Willow and Xander got together. And then Oz entered the picture, and Woz was just too cute and I love Seth Green, so.... 🙂 Even now, I have my "aww, I wish" moments about Xillow, though. For instance, in "The Gift" when Xander says "Smart chicks are so hot" and Willow looks at him with this kind of wistful look and says "You couldn't have figured that out in the tenth grade?". Awwww!! How can you not love that? They have such history, and I would have loved to see their fling last longer, but as much as I would have wanted that, and as much as I loved Tara, I am now and forever will be a complete Woz 'shipper. 😀

The Xillow relationship is an interesting one. In season one, and half of season two, Willow was, I think, just longing for a boyfriend, and Xander seemed like the most...attainable goal. Then Oz came along, whip out a few more episodes and a relationship heats up. Season three comes along, both Willow and Xander are happy in their relationships, until midway through. Willow, who was never seen as attractive, had two boys lusting after her, and she had to make a decision: Oz, the furry, reliable (well...) boyfriend, or Xander, the loveable best friend. Being the person she is, Willow didn't want to take actions beyond the makeout session in hopes of keeping the way things were, making sure nobody got hurt. That ended with Cordy in the hospital and Oz taking a break from his Witchy Woman. As much as I love the two together, Xillow would have caused many conflicts with two of my favorite characters: Anya and Tara. So, fortunatly, it stopped where it should have stopped, with the occasional hint of a "crush" here and there.
 
i agree with most of you it was cute wil it was (if that makes sense) but if they had stayed together there wouldnt of been adn anya or tara and those 'ships' were great to watch good or bad.
