Xin Rong & Niki Wood

What do you think about these two slayers?BTW Xin is pronounced, Zin.Have you read the book, about Xin Rong's bro's who took revenge on Spike?I read it on the internet, along with other comics.

I haven't read the comics, but she seemed interesting in 'Fool for Love'.

Seems like she must have had a normal life, since her brothers knew of her calling. Same for Nikki, I mean she had a kid. Maybe each slayer has been able to somehow fight the urge to be truly alone and find something to keep them feeling human and loved!

Well actually.remember when she said to spike, that to tell her mom that she was sorry?many fans suspected that she had family problems.they had many reasons why.i dunno where u can find it.jus look in google, nd they prob have reasons.

Who do you think is better?Who do you like the most? The majority wins!I liked Niki, cause she was cool. But I think the actress that played her in season 7 was better.Because she was younger nd better.the actress who played her in season 5 was like an 37 year old.I have to say I like Xin Rong better!Because she's cool, nd kicks vamp ass!I like asian slayers!Because they represent us asians! When is there gonna be a canadian slayer.cause i want her to represent us canadians.they're so rascist, them writers.they always write bout american, african, & chinese slayers, but not canadian or filipinos.well there was one filipina slayer, Caridad.there were others, but im not sure if they were flip, chinese, korean, or anythin else asian.

Since we really didn't get to know them personally, I'll have to judge on their fighting skills.

Xin was amazing in battle with Spike. Her moves were to me, the best we had seen from a slayer, very coordinated. But she lacked the imagination and seemed weak.

Now Niki, more of a street fighter, but looked like she had some power. More like Faith. I would probably say in a fight, Niki would take her because she seems like she would have the imagination of Buffy.

Though, Buffy could take them both 🙂

Xin was more like a Kendra type slayer, like you said with little imagination, but her fighting style was near flawless.

Nikki was more along the lines of Buffy/Faith without the whole "going evil" thing. She might have survived longer than she had, if she didn't have her son to worry about though. As much as she may have loved Robin, he most likely was a major distraction from her mission.

just remember the stories im talking about, are just fanfics from writers.they write stories, and published them, to show their ideas, to the fans.for more info, chk my thread in the whedonverse, called Into every generation a slayer is born...i explain to nerd4 hire, many things.

This is right, i meant the Robin thing. This is why the council, always wants the slayers to work, alone, in private.Because any relationships, will distract the slayer from her mission.

Agreeing, the council part was great.
I like Nikki better. She was a straight to the point kinda girl, but Xin Rong was swinging her sword around every which way and barely hitting Spike half the time. "Come on woman! You're in a fight for you life! Try harder!"

I think Xin had too much had too much faith in her sword and stake because they were "traditional". She didn't have the imagination (as said before) to use part of the subway to fight a vampire. Although that was Spike that first used it, she used it against him later. Nikki gets to know her surroundings.
