Yahoo/MSN/Skype/ICQ/AIM -- It's all free!

Okay, yeah, I'm trying to prove to someone they aren't as smart as they think...Yahoo, MSN, Skype, ICQ, and AIM are all free. I know they are, but this person (*cough*my father*cough*) thinks that my downloading of Yahoo screwed our computer up and even though I downloaded the free service that he's paying for it in our Qwest bill...

So, yeah...mods, y'all can delete this if you want, but I'm fuming right now. Gets SO annoying to hear it constantly...and now he thinks all the peeps from BB I talk to on there (all three of 'em! Yep!) are feeding viruses to our computer...

The lad speaks true, sir. All of the aformentioned programs are indeed free to download and use. As for the Buffy Boards, you can rest assured that this site is free from any viruses. We are well-guarded against such things, and update our protections regularly.

I was with Yahoo with a free sevice, but it was crap so I stopped using it. Then they said they were going to introduce charges for the service. I tried to stop the service but Yahoo said the only way to stop one of their services was to stop all of them, and so I lost all my e-mail addresses.
If it's a yahoo service, I don't trust it.
