Oh god, how I loved this show and Kotto and Braugher were always stellar together.

That's a shame. I've got Homicide on DVD somewhere (must have bought it because of The Wire)...I'll have to dig it out.

I also have Simon & Burns' book "The Corner"; Simon's "Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets" and Rafael Alvarez "The Wire: Truth Be Told"; Jason Vest "Violence is Power: The Wire, Deadwood, Homicide and NYPD Blue" and Potter & Marshall "The Wire: Urban Decay and American Television." I might even have partly read them! 😏

RIP. One of those brilliant character actors. He was great in everything and had quite the range. Underrated in many ways. Will have to check out some of his TV stuff and those books Tribel mentioned.

I figured it was a rhetorical question. It's off topic but the corner is something I could only watch once. I think it was the documentary feel to it. Felt more visceral.
