I got a new puppy this past weekend, and I'm all hyped up on puppy breath & wiggles!

This is my new baby.... we named him JESTER...
...we think he's a pug-a-poo?... he's a tiny little thing...
weighs about 6 lbs & is about 3 months old.

YAY puppies!

Awww, he looks so tiny and cute! That's actually the only way I like dogs, as soon as they are grown up I'm only scared of them, lol.

I bet he poops a lot of places....

Sorry...just a loose thought

Actually.... he doesn't! - he has been 99% wonderful about pee'n & poo'n on the puppy-pad! And outside, too! He made one pee-pee mistake, & that was MY FAULT for not showing him where the puppy pad was located.

We're crate training him; it's the best way, IMHO, to housebreak a dog.

And Jester is SOOOOOOO smart! (and I'm not just saying that cause he's my puppy! nope! - he really IS smart!)

Cute puppy, bet he'll be a handful when he's bigger!

When I saw the title of the thread I immediately thought you meant something else... 😉

That's awsome!
My friend got a dog last month and he just poops all over the place.

yay! but remember pets are for life, not just for Christmas... sorry I've walked past the RSPCA people on the way to work every day for a month, I think I'll die with that slogan in my brain.
Hope you're having a bunch of fun with your new baby, Jester is absolutely adorable! I love the new pet stage, when it's all new and fun and you learn their funny ways 🙂 good luck with poopy training!

I'm a huge ASPCA fan myself. I have another dog & two cats. Those are our babies. They are well taken care of. I hate to see people with pets who really have no clue how to train them or take care of them. They really ARE a lot like children. My other dog is well trained; she's 12 years old now... and having a bit of a tolerance deficiency with the new pup! Bless her heart!

Right now, we're teaching Jester "no bite!" - he's in that "yippy-yappy" puppy stage where everything is up for chewing (he hasn't begun losing teeth yet). And that's a big no-no! He's only allowed to chew on his toys & chewies.

But I've really been impressed with how quickly he's taken to the puppy pads. My smart lil' boy!

Well... color me "duh!" ... but ... what did you THINK it meant?
