Is there anything that signals the beginning of Spring besides the temperature change and flowers in bloom, obviously. I mean, is there a smell or a sense or something that you know? Allergies maybe?

For me, I know it's Spring when I start to get these horrible headaches. I think they begin with an S...I've had one for about a week now. That's how I know it's Spring.

How about you?

Hey, Hero!

Yah, I get it too...headache, dry scratchy throat, watery eyes, runny nose. It's allergies. Around here it's maple trees doing their pollen thing and the air is just full of floating crap that looks like cotton balls. Also, in October, around the 8th or so, every ragweed plant in Southwestern Ontario spews seeds, and again I'm miserable for about a month, until the frost kills all the nasty plants. Allergies. Ick.

for me its the smell. when it gets warm enough and the dead leaves and sticks of last season give off that wet rot smell it brings back fond childhood memories.

when i stop using the heavy blanket and go with the sheets...

shiz...its either winter of summer here...cause its already hella hot...and its only falkin april...

The smell is one thing...And when I don't use forever getting put of bed in the morning anymore cos of the cold. And also when I start wondering if the clouds have gone blue, or if there really isn't any clouds in the sky...lol

When I start sneezing for a month, and the very first day my girlfriend takes the twins for a walk.....that's how I know Spring has arrived...........

sping here lol in L.A but my poor cousins in Denver Colorado are having some heavy snow fall!! (anyone remember the storm that locked everyone in Denver in there homes for almost 2 weeks).......lol we were there for spring break and our flight was suposed to leave the day after the snow storm began and we were stuck in our cousins house for an extra week and 5 days cuz the snow storm........it was interesting going cross country sking to the grocery store......that was like 1/2 empty by the 3rd day. oh and I could say "I jmped from my cousins two story roof!! and didnt die well cuz there was like 6 feet of snow to land in........lol it was fun!

oh and the last buffy episode was also that week and the worse thing is.............the power was out almost the whole time......and It came back like 15 minutes before the aring of the final episode.......boy I was happy! (and went back out again an hour later)....Denver power was lucky or they would have one MAD fan chasing there arses!!

I usually have a dry throat during the winter, not the spring. Weird. Damn. You must have a bad polling problem if you see them floating in the air like that. I never actually see the pollin, but I know it's there.

Another thing I know it's Spring is when I have to start mowing the lawn.

I also know it's Spring when I'm sitting in the hall laughing coz my classmates had to go outside to have P.E classes....coz you see everyone in alm ost every single classroom on all floors can see them🙂

Well I saw boats on the river (the little kinda slow boats) and a couple of ducks (who I see every day) with a baby duckling. Ergo, Spring.

But also me complaining is a sign of Spring.

Bloody tree pollen! Spring has sprung in the Pointyverse when I start sneezing and the old eyes begin to itch. And then it's sneeze/itch all the way through 'til August when the grass pollen finally gives up. Pass the antihistamines please. Though, as much as I hate my allergies, I really love Spring and Summer.

Spring in California pretty much feels like summer anyways cept for few days when it rains and that don't happen often. But yeah, really no difference between the seasons for me, especially when you work in the "happiest Place On Earth"

i have an allergie, so i feel it pretty much
i don't like spring that much, i prefer summer but spring is better than winter so ...🙂

OHMYGOD Guestage! You work at Disneyland! How frickin' cool is that!? Pretty darn! Ooooohhhhh, how very fun! That is the best thing I have heard all day! lol By the way, your new banner is awesome! 🙂

Okay back on topic...allergies allergies allergies everywhere! There are our desert flowers blossoming everywhere and our regular flowers too...very pretty and VERY aromatic. My favorite are these purple trees. They have tiny leaves but huge flowering purple buds. They look so magical and lovely, like they would be in a fantasy land. I love them. I like to go sit under them and feel the breeze in the air.
