Hello! *waves*

Well seen as i'm making a new thread in this part of the forum i'm obviously a newbie.

Now...to introduce myself.

I'm Sarah and i'm fairly new to the world of Buffy. My friend has been obsessed with the buffyverse for a while and was intent on getting me hooked as well. It took her three years before I eventually gave in, and I had her season one boxset sitting in my room for months before I decided to give it a go. That was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I don't think i've ever been hooked on anything as much as I have with buffy.

I'm in love with Spike, (I loved Angel until he left and when Spike became a regular character I moved on to him).

I've seen all the episodes of Buffy, but i only own season 6. I'm trying to get the rest, but lack of cash prevents me from doing so. I haven't seen any of Angel, and I'm also saving up to buy all of those as well.

so yeah, that's my hello everyone message. I didn't mean for it to be that long. Really!

Don't worry; most of us had ourselves a good ramble when we introduced ourselves to this site. So you're a newbie to the Buffyverse? Much in the way of welcome and very lovely to have you in this world, and on this board too. 🙂

And lucky you- you still have all the Angels to see! I miss having that 'new Buffy/Angel episode' feeling...not had it in years :sigh:

There are lots of fellow Spike followers...I mean, erm fans. So I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Plus we're a nice, friendly, slightly insane bunch. But we'll embrace you like an embracing thing just to get you as addicted to the boards as the rest of us are. (There may be little marshmallows involved...hehe)

So, see you posting around soon. Any of us will help you with any problems you have and more than likely Keanoite will be coming along with her helpful hello soon 😉

If you haven't seen any episodes of Angel GET INTO IT NOW!!! I actually like Angel better than BtVS.

me too...maybe it's the longer lasting lack of Cordelia that that makes BtVS not so good compared to Angel

Too bad it took you so long to get into Buffy. But the thing is we never really know how much goodness is instore for us so we put things off. But very glad you finally did give it a go and it was a hit! Much, much better than a miss. 🙂

wow Joyce made us all sound like a bunch of "kumbi-ya-er's" lol. dont let her fool you we found out in another thread that she has gone adopting crazy to feed her young hehehehe (hahaha had to pick couldn't resist!)

And Blondie Bear share? GASP! She is a spike hog! 😛 lol.

no but seriously welcome to the boards! Its a great place to be with super fun (crazy) members. I am sure you will love it here. Oh and I JUST started watching Angel so I am new with you there 🙂 WELCOME!!!!!!
