By the way, yes, the "<3" is my best attempt at a bum heart.
She was, like, unnaturally gorgeous in person! Still, she wasn't quite as sunshiney and happy as I was hoping she'd be. She definitely wasn't mean or anything, she just seemed sort of...I don't wanna say bitter, but tired. Then again, that's kind of expected, since she had been signing autographs for and taking pictures with people she didn't particularly care about all day. Oh, and she had the exact same face in every special shiny picture she took with her fans...she was sort of turned to the side with her hair in her face and it was kind of hilarious.
Then again, I might have just been disappointed because I had already been totally spoiled by how amazing Edward James Olmos and Michael Hogan were. They were the sweetest, most wonderful men in the world, and I'm not exaggerating. Edward James Olmos was kind of quiet with everyone, but he was smiling the whole time and was nice as can be. Michael Hogan was much more talkative...oh, and he whistled at me and said I was pretty! Is it weird to squee over a guy who's several times your age and probably only said that because he was paid to? Yes? Oh well...SQUEE! Then later, my sister waved at him (I was waaayy too scared to) and he said "Hi!" back really enthusiastically, which kind of made my life. Oh, and I was positively awestruck by how shiny his head was.
Emma, Eddie, and Michael were the only ones I talked to, but I did see Luciana Carro (Kat from BSG), Nicki Clyne (Cally from BSG), and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca!). Luciana and Nicki looked EXACTLY like they did on the show. It was kind of scary, actually. And Peter Mayhew looked freakishly wookie-like, even without the makeup on. I kind of wanted someone to ask him to make the Chewy noise just so I could hear it, but I suppose everyone was too intimidated, since he was enormous.
