Man, this wait between Buffy episodes is a killer.

I got bored and got to wondering which dead or missing character from Buffy is missed by the fans the most.

I went to google and typed in the character name along with the term Buffy to see which character has been receiving the most attention.

I think if you divide the hits by the amount of episodes the character was in Cassie Newton comes up the winner.

Here are the amount of google hits for each character.

Oz 208,000

Faith 160,000

Giles 148,000

Tara 106,000

Riley 66,400

Joyce 62,700

Andrew 60,100.

Jonathan 50,400

Drusilla 46,000

warren 40,000.

Darla 37,900

cassie newton 22,900

Buffy bot 11,000

Aimie 6,110

Clem 4,710

buffybot 4,320.

Ethan rain 1,990

Pretty interesting way of doing it. Hell yeah, Oz seems to have topped the list - well, you know, without the dividing thing.

Faith and Tara both very high, I can live with this, and I loved Cassie Newton, she was very cute!
 
Nah, you don't have to divide. This poll is about as scientific as soup. I just invented the division thing, cause I like Cassie Newton.

There is a problem with the Oz results though:
You would also get results from stuff like OZ the tv series or the Wizard of Oz or such like that if they were mentioned on the same page with Buffy. Of all the numbers, I think the OZ numbers are the least accurate.

I can't believe he has more then her! But then again, this maybe because there names are actually Ethan Rayne and Jenny Calendar.
 
Huh? ... wait a sec, you're talking about the rat ... ow right, I was already wondering why she mentioned Aimee Mann, but she tried Amy the Rat! LMAO
 
Yeah...to do this correctly I'd have to work at it. Don't expect that to happen.

You'd have to add all the possible mis-spellings with the correct spellings. You'd have to subtract all the non-buffy hits. Then there's names like Rupert (Ripper) Giles. You'd have to include all the Rupert or Ripper hits that didn't include Giles with the Giles hits.

There are obvious errors; like why would Andrew's hits be higher than Jonathan's or Warren's. That doesn't make sense.
 
Faith and Tara have very high hits because they RULE!!! Of course, if we could just see more of Faith...season 3 just doesn't do it for me...Not enough Faith!! More Faith please...

Well though Jonathan was cool too, Warren was an @$$ and he should have died in a way more painful way ... "Kill, kill, kill!" ... but Andrew is just so funny, I like 'em!
 
Maybe you should type in the characters names and then also type in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. See what happens then?
