when you start cursing in Mandarin, lol.

I wrote down a bunch of phrases from the show because I'm getting ready to write a fanfic. I was practicing saying them so when I write I remember to add them in and I just caught myself swearing in Chinese a few seconds ago. My husband thinks I'm insane. I think it is hilarious.

I also started to say "shiney" a lot. My 7 year old daughter thought it was a neat word instead of cool. She'll probably be saying it, too. (Actually I told her to start using it at school and see if it catches on).

And I'm knitting my 2nd Jayne hat. I am such a dork. I've only had the DVDs for a month and a half and I'm half way through my 2nd viewing. Oh, but I didn't watch it the first time until 2 weeks ago.

I've only watched it 4 times 😀 I've watched Andromeda atleast 10. Stargate a dozen times. And Buffy.. I think three times. Angel I've seen in parts dozens of times over and over and over, alot. Maybe I should go for a full fifth viewing of Firefly someday soon! I used to think 'Shiney' all the time lol I've never said it though! And now I always say Verse.

Heh Ive watched firefly, buffy, angel and serentity more times then I can count! I pick up heaps of words and use them (not realising until later!) and sayings! Like last week my boss asked me to get a filly (girl horse) from the yard and I went back and said that there was only a colt (boy horse) would she like me to take that one instead? She said that it had to be a filly and was absolutly sure that there was only a filly in that yard. I replied, well he may be a girl at heart but his physical pressence has a penis!
I wish I knew the chinese curses! I would love to use them haah, the only thing I know is the 'laughter for chickens' thing from serenity and I cant spell that 🙂
I havent seen any firefly merchendise in oz besides the dvds. Im sure it is around but I havent looked hard enough. Are you able to post the chinese and translations? that would be cool 🙂
