What I'm saying is that I think that Faith was referencing her having sex with Angel by saying "Should have been there B, wuite a ride". I was referencing Amends in saying that even though he is not normally the kind of guy that is morally flawed, he has been weak at times. In Amends he was saying that it's not the demon in him that needs killing but the man.

But they didn't have sex. That's already been confirmed. Faith was talking about being evil.

I'm genuinely surprised that people think Faith is referring to have sex with Angel and that Angel would have actually done it. Even if you don't like him as a character, I'm still a little shocked.

One, I think Faith is referring to something much bigger than just a taunt; it's deeper than that, like others have said, it's referencing her "ride", her life and her journey. She knew she was possibly going to die otherwise she wouldn't have made "not gonna help your boy, though" comment.

Two, if they had have slept together, we sure as heck would have known about it and have had something much more substantial and qualifying than Angel saying he hadn't meant for it to go "that far". It's more likely he was referring to having to knock her out, tie up and torture her - I don't think Angel would have been happy with having to do any of those things.

I also don't think you can argue with the line from AtS.

Are you suggesting then, RogueDemonHunter, that Angel went through everything he did in Amends because he'd slept with Faith?

Angel and Faith both acknowledged later, in Sanctuary, that they never slept together. So it's canon that they didn't have sex then.

I'm honestly kind of mind boggled that Angel and Faith having sex is even a question. Apart from the canon stating clearly that they didn't have sex, there is all the little elements of this show that would have to change in order for the theory to have a legitimacy.

1. It's Angel. Him having sex is huge fecking deal. If it happens, especially with Faith, it would happen on screen. We would know about it. The fallout for Angel, emotionally, would have been huge. He would have left Buffy then and there, fully believing he was not worthy of her. It happening matters too much to too many characters for it to left to chance or ambiguity.

2. It's Faith. If she had sex with Angel there is simply no conceivable way that she is waiting until she is dying to tell Buffy. If it had happened she would have told her in Enemies, just so she could savour the look on Buffy's face. To Faith, having Angel was the ultimate triumph over Buffy, if it really happened, she would have done her victory lap right in Buffy's face.

3. The stressing in Earshot that it was kissing that Angel did with Faith, nothing more.

I'm in agreement with the other posters who said that Faith was talking about her "ride" into the darker side of herself. She had taunted Buffy that she was not ready to become her (Faith) yet. I see the line more as an acknowledgement that Buffy could have been there with Faith, in fact she very well was given their antics earlier in the season. I think it was more a taunt of how far Buffy had come in finding her own darkness.

Not to mention that if they HAD slept together, Angel probably would have lost his soul again. Or maybe not, since he was never in love with Faith, and thus the sex wouldn't have actually MEANT anything. Being a new fan, I'm still a little fuzzy on how that works.
