...that if a slayer died, a new slayer will arise(or be summoned)?

There're 2000 slayers nowadays. If it works like that, I think sooner or later, all the girls in the world will be slayers. And the world will be so weird...:drunk:

I don't think the death of a slayer calls a new one anymore. It seems that they are being called when the were supposed to. WHat I mean is, Buffy said that every slayer who could be called would be called and I think that those potentials are being called when they were intended to be called. When it was one girl from a whole pool of ready potentials being picked, I think now every girl in the pool is called.

I dont want this to sounds stupid, but, one day if they all died(be killed or old-and-grey kind of death), the old slayer calling rule might activate again. Maybe? Like in Fray time, she's only one, right?

Well the way I always thought it worked was that all the potentials are now Slayer at the moment. But there is always just a limited amount of potentials, like Kean already said. Otherwise Willow's spell would've turned literally every girl into a slayer, which it did not.
My prediction for the future is as follows: for a few years, the potentials can die all they want, no one gets called again because there simply is no one to be called. BUT in a few years, when there are new girls again who fulfill the potential ctriterion (assuming there's a time window for a girl to be a potential...let's say maybe from 10-25 yrs or something) each time one of the existing slayers dies, a new potential will be thrown into the mix, so after some years the number of existing slayers will be kept steady. Does that make any sense? Well, it's just my assumption anyway.

I thought that if a new potential will arise like out of thin air, she automatically will be turned into a Slayer, as the magic spell has changed things. It kind of got rid of Potentials and ever since there are only slayers left and girls ^^

I thought the spell was more of 'simulate the death of a slayer, and the one after that, and the one after that...etc. until there is no potential anymore and they are all slayers'. But unless there's a new spell being done it will stay like this, only slayers through dying again.
