Young Han Solo down to three finalists

Alden Ehrenreich was great in Hail, Caesar, he stole the show (plus he was good in Supernatural as you just rewatched his episode).
Still, I'm not sure I believe this list. They had a final three for the new Spiderman yet the person they cast was not on that list at all.
 
As much as I did not like Kingsman, Egerton was not bad in it. I could see him doing a good Solo as well. Not as much as Ehrenreich mind you. Only one I don't really see is Reynor.
 
I've only seen that one scene from Hail, Caesar! but Alden Ehrenreich all the way!

On a related note, I'm way more against the making of this movie than against Indiana Jones 5.

Isn't that the best thing they can do? Casting a young, unknown actor? Why would anybody want to see a famous actor as Han Solo? That would be really irritating, in my opinion.

I dont care if he looks like him or not, honestly.. as long as he has the attitude. I can get around the looks as long as the acting is good and he has that same energy.
 
I don't care who they choose, as long as he has the acting chops and charisma to pull it off. I'd prefer an unknown personally, someone who you look at and think 'Han Solo', not 'so-and-so from X film', so Taron Egerton is out for me.
