Angel and Spike are just so fun to watch... Willow and Anya got old after a while, like two little kids whining for attention. But Angel and Spike is my fave 'cause they're so funny when they're on screen bickering like little old ladies.
 
I voted for Angel and Spike because they have such a long rivalry that I found really interesting. I really liked Faith and Buffy's rivalry as well; they were a close second.

I personally didn't care for the Xander/Spike or Willow/Anya rivalries at all.
 
I also voted Angel and Spike because their rivalry is complex and interesting in so many ways... and plainly speaking very very funny 🙂

Me too. I'm pretty much convinced that by the latter seasons of the shows they would have made incredible friends.

I think they would've been good friends, too.
Angel and Spike, but I did enjoy the rivalry between Angel and Lindsey as well

Buffy/Cordelia
Xander/Angel(us)
Kennedy/LGBT community
 
Giles-Jenny and Xander-Cordelia. Hilarous banter leading to romance FTW!


P.S. As long as none of the parties involved is a serial murderer as in the other relationships that fit that mold.
 
I would say Angel and Spike, but Angel was just so outclassed that it started getting pathetic.

On the other hand, the Buffy/Faith rivalry was always just so much fun to watch before things got all serious with the Mayor and the Ascension. I read once somewhere that, the way that the two characters were written and portrayed, they would eventually have to become mortal enemies or lovers, there just couldn't be any middle ground.

LOL!! This video cracked me up.
I went for Xander/Spike because a lot of there rivalry was in my favourite Buffy seasons 5 and 6, and I always remember their dialogue in Normal Again the episode after Hells Bells when Xander didn't go through with the wedding, so many funny moments, but at the same time you sense a real seriousness to the rivalry
 
Angel and Spike as they're typical siblings trying to constantly get one up on each other.
 
I don't really see a rivalry between Anya and Willow.
Is there one? Have I missed something?😱

Or what kind of rivalry are we exactly talking about?

Angel and Spike, obviously! I don't see Anya/Willow and Spike/Xander as rivals, at all.

But Spike and Angel(us) were always fun to watch throw one liners at each other. 😛 And you can't forget the fight in 'Destiny' and the Cavemen vs Astronauts debate. Hahaha! If there is one reason I'm glad we got AtS s5, it's the Spike/Angel rivalry.
