Angel and Spike are excellent, I definitely agree, but I don't think they're my all time rivalry. Maybe because I see them as friends and lovers that bicker because they enjoy it - like it's a game to them.
My vote went to other. Angel and Lindsey. They had the implied sexual tension that I love in a rivalry, but it felt so real and heartfelt. The rivalry was all so real, almost like Lindsey was the middle child that no one ever truly loved.

Yeah, well OK. But that's not a real rivalry for me.
But I'd consider Cordy/Willow as kind of a rivalry though.
