SO, I just realised that I was on 9,999 posts (That is a shameful amount of posting in less than 4 years. My apologies to you all) and I felt it would be only right if my 10,000th post was a Bangel one. Hence the thread. So I thought we could all posts what our Bangel is like? I think that each individual shipper has their own specific idea of what their ship is. So post what you love about them, what you wish for them...anything at all. You can type, post art, vids, whatever. Just tell us what your Bangel is. 🙂

It's not so much the video, which is basically just clips from the show (lovely though) but the song... "feels like home to me". That's Bangel to me, whenever they're near or not for that matter, them together is just "home". It's right, it's comforting, it's effortless...

... that's why I have no question in my mind that it'll be them in the end at some point (may it only be a Fresley kind of ending, knowing the way Joss usually takes things) which is also why I rarely debate it. I'm staunch in my beliefs here and I'm not sure I care if it really becomes canon or not because to me Bangel is home, they know it and I know it... it's just inevitable. 😀 All pain and hardship comes to a pause when they get a moment to breathe together (I should have found a clip from "Forever" now that I think of it. Because that's it more or less. The place where you can rest your head and just be yourself. Bangel <3)

Congrats Kean! How incredibly appropriate to have a Bangel thread party LOL! And I sooo needed this thread, you know the kind of week I've been having with regards to our favorite couple.

This video is amazing. I've been thinking a lot about heroes lately, and why I like the character of Angel so much (well, besides DB's hotness). Angel and Buffy are big damn imperfect heroes. They sometimes fail and falter, but they always try again. But I also like how comfortable they are with each other, how they just enjoy being together, how they relax in each other's presence. She also has a complete look of contentment on her face when they kiss, much different from some of her other relationships. Have you ever noticed how often she touches his face?

Notice I didn't use the word trust. A lot has happened in that department. I hope it's something that they can someday overcome. Forgiveness has always been a big theme for them, and I think we'll see that again. For now, we'll have to be content with this:

Loved the drama in this first(most sadly) relationship. Poor Buffy. Both fought for a ghost, never gained what they wanted to gain, but still won other things.
The video just shows how broken Buffy was/is/will always be...

I know that I'm an outsider here, but, like Ol' Broody, I do like to lurk occasionally. First off, congratulations on 10,000 posts, Miss k. That's real dedication, and I can't help but believe that I'm just a little bit responsible for you getting there this quickly, and I would like to say that it's been fun getting you this far. You are an asset to the community in general, and a wonderful personal challenge to me. Without having you here to ALMOST counterbalance my Spuffy, it could be a boring place. So, in a very real way, I just have to say that you are my Bangel, the perfect example of the shipper.
