Your Career

First year of a law degree, workign towards the law degree, then doing my BVC to become a barrister. However if I don't get my contract coursework done by the end of tomorrow, you'll see me at the drive through window of McDonald's 🙁

'lol' Willow - I'm sure you'll get it done in time - just can't see you at McDonald's somehow. ::evil::

I've never been very career minded at all, I'm not ambitious and the only thing I ever really wanted to do but didn't was to go into hairdressing, I like the creative side of it and the idea of being able to completely change someone's look. 😀

I left the job I was in back in 1993 to have my first son. I was a receptionist at the time as I had decided to move departments due to suffering from panic attacks when I fell pregnant. Before that I used to run the payroll, but with being pregnant and having the panic attacks I just found the whole wages stuff was far to stressful, so I figure why put myself through that everyday when I didn't have to, and moved to the reception - unfortuantely I still had the panic attacks and my doctor signed me off from work earlier than would be normal during pregnancy anyway!

I have spent my time since looking after my kids, as I'm strongly of the view that if you are going to have children then you should be there to bring them up - I could never leave my kids in someone elses care and go out to work - what's the point in having children if you're going to do that? Trust me as well, we don't have alot of money, and we still manage but we are happy and that's what matters at the end of the day, money isn't the be all and end all to us. 😉

So I guess you could say my career is full-time homemaker, well that's the *proper* term these days, I still think of it as houeswife or just full-time mum though!😀
