Your Computer

At Pointy Towers we have a Mac Powerbook laptop, a Mac Mini and a couple of, now unused, Windows desktops (an HP and a self-build)...plus Mrs P's iPad and our iPod Touches for computing on the move 🙂 I'm pleased to see the growing popularity of Macs among BB-ers...when I asked a similar question a few years ago we were pretty much all using Windows PCs...I'm glad I moved over to Macs - they provide a much less fraught computing experience.

Nay!! It was I too... but.. come on.. iPad? Computer? No.. it's just a BIG iphone that doesnt work as a phone. (unless you got that one app)
I have a 13" Macbook and then my family also has a really shitty LG pc in the basement that takes forever to boot up and load pretty much everything. My mom has a netbook as well for work.

I play on two computers - a HP desktop and a Dell desktop. I surf with the HP and play my clips in a random loop on the Dell. I also have a Dell laptop, a Sony Vaio laptop, a netbook, and an iPad. Yes, I AM a geek.

I've got three desktops, no idea what sort they are. As long as they work I don't care what they are.
The main one is for the internet usage, book writing and my attempts at learning how to do script writing.
My second and third ones are in the music room, they are used for writing song lyrics, a rock musical and a rock opera.

I've only ever had laptops. I'd like a desktop but I couldn't afford both and I like to be able to move around or take my laptop with me. I'd love a decent graphics card though. All my laptop ones have been poo. At the moment I have a Fujitsu Lifebook and despite the graphics card still not being all that great, it's pretty much been awesome in every other way 🙂 This is my first laptop that hasn't been a Dell, too! My old Dells were both Inspirons and they were pretty decent, but my last one kept overheating for no apparent reason no matter what I did to try and fix it.

laptops karma!
I have an adorable red HP netbook that I take with me to take notes at school, because it is small and very light. I also have a Samsung laptop who died last summer and wasn't repaired before two months, so I decided to kill my bank account and buy a macbook, because it's much more useful for my studies. I use the Mac for school work and everyday personal use, the Samsung when I need to use a software which works better with/only with a PC, and the netbook for school.

And I also have an old Acer netbook, which was my first personal computer but doesn't work anymore because it's too old and doesn't have enough memory.

I feel like a geek knowing there are 5 computers in the house and I own 4 of them. I even gave them names.

I have a Dell Inspirion 1545 laptop with Windows 7. I've had it for a year now and I love it. It's great, fast and is HD. It makes a change from my old crapped out Dell computer that is 7 or 8 years old.
