Ok, I'm comming over to watch movies at Oz, First Evil and Kindred, and LD's house! I'll bring the popcorn! You get the restraining order! 😛

I have a TON of VHS since we only got a dvd player for Christmas this last year and we are so very poor...I used to be proud of my movie collection till I realized how many movies I want and don't have...but I have Buffy so that's what really matters...

BTW, First Evil...YES, do go on...I just KNOW there must be more to that collection...well, maybe not THAT collection...😛
 
Well. I've got loads of DVDs (266, for now) since I can get them cheap (good connections)... so I'll just mention my favourites :

I'm not too keen on getting the bond collection as they've already released one full set and when the next movie comes out they'll release another platinum box no doubt... its shameless

I didn't like C. Thomas Howell that much, but the vampire clans were awesome!

And I think it's very cool that three of the vampires from Kindred showed up in the Buffyverse: Luke (the master's vessel), the badass angry blonde dude from "The Zeppo" and the chick who played Wesley's girlfriend in Angel season 2.
 
Kindred: The Embraced was based upon the whitewolf game 'Vampire The Masquerade' if you liked it maybe you should consider buying some of the books... I know they've done novels but they also publish Clan books (How to play the clan attributes etc) but the Clan books also have quite alot of backstory and history of the clans etc etc etc.... can be expensive and ADULT orientated though the books that is 😛

Yeah, I'm familiar w/ the Vampire the Masquerade RPG. I also played (and really loved) the PC game Vampire The Masqerade: Redemption. They're making another V:tM PC game using the Half-Life 2 Engine; it's due out next year. Looks VERY VERY pretty.
Didn't know there were books though....might have to scope one of them out.

I was pretty devestated when Kindred: The Embraced got canned. That show had a lot of potential. Any special features on the DVD? <LazyDolphin pats himself on the back for slyly maneuvering the conversation back to something vaguely having to do with DVDs>

Wow! You've got some cool titles, Allycat! I really liked Blood, the Last Vampire. My only complaint was that it was too short! I wanted more!!

And props to you and all the others who own Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors! I'm more of a monster movie horror fan than a slasher movie horror fan, but I make an exception for Freddy because he's sort of in his own category. And Dream Warriors is one of the trippiest (and smartest) horror movies I've ever seen.
 
Awesome collection, Allycat! But what do you mean by CDs? Can you only watch them on your computer?
 
probably means VCDs (Video CDs) you can download them off the internet or get 'em cheap in far eastern countries... mainly for dodgey dealings when it comes to movies etc etc... 😀

And no, not VCD's, data CDs, with MPEG and AVI-files, I can play 'em on my PC and on some good DVD players!
 
MPEGs make VCDs... you'd prolly be best fiddling around with 'em allycat if they're over 400 megs and are MPEG then they're prolly VCD files which yer DVD player should play if you burn them to CD properly 😛

I only did Blood, the Last Vampire on VCD, but it takes like an hour to burn 'em, and if you have over twohundred of these CD's, it's gettin kinda annoying, plus it only works with files under a certain size (400mb I believe).

One: I know I'm a guy and all, and I'm straight, but will you marry me? I mean, you have Dario Argento movies AND the Magnificent-Seven-in-space cheese-fest of brilliance that is Battle Beyond The Stars!

Two: Dude , is Urotsukidoji the trilogy that starts with Legend of the Overfiend? Because, yikes! Yikes, yikes and yikes! The way Jaws traumatized me for swiming when i was six, Legend of the Overfiend traumatized me for sex with giant five-weenied demons when I was like thirteen. Major psychological damage. Seriously. To this day, I can't have sex with giant penta-petered demons.
