So I'm sitting in my library. Being bored. Looking around at all the random items I've accumulated in here amongst my books. And then I started wondering. . .

What's some of the strangest things you've bought because of a fandom?

My clock in here is shaped like a Dalek. From Doctor Who. It's comes out of the wall and has a plunger arm and everything.

I've also got replicas of the 10th and 11th Doctor's sonic screwdrivers.

And a replica of Duncan Macleod's sword from Highlander. The series.

Strangely enough I don't have anything, other than the comics, from Buffy. I shall have to remedy that.

We have that dalek clock! Technically it's my sisters but it's on the dining room wall. Gets a few odd looks haha!
The only strange thing that I can think of is the Rattlesnake Mug which Craig Ferguson has on the Late Late Show 😀

Now you can buy it at the CBS shop, but I had it before. Kinda hate that now everyone can have one 🙁

Then I have lots of shirts and posters of bands and a few autographed pics.
Besides CDs I also have a few vinyls.

Haha awesome!
Oh yeh! I have autographed pics in my library too.

One is just David Tennant.
The other is a large poster that has both David Tennant and Matt Smith's autographs.

I bought it before anyone had seen Matt as the Doctor so I got a really good deal. Now that everyone loves him his autograph has really jacked up in price!

I didn't buy my autographs. I went the Musikmesse-Frankfurt, Europe's biggest exhibition of musical instruments and that stuff, and got autographs of guitarists Joe Satriani and Jeff Waters and got a poster signed by drummer Vinnie Paul. It was pretty awesome.

Oh, I also caught 3 guitar picks at concerts. One of Mark Matejka of Lynyrd Skynyrd, one of Phil Campbell and one of Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead.
But that was pure luck.
I wouldn't really count that stuff anyway, since you were talking about the strangest things you've bought because of a fandom.

This is true. But still awesome!
I have a lot of random Beatles memorabilia. I have a pin and a ring from 1964 of George Harrison, I own John's book, George's book, and a lot of albums (I mean the vinyl ones). I actually have the original release of All Things Must Pass. The three vinyl set, WITH the original George Harrison poster, in almost mint condition. It's one of my prized possessions. (ATMP is George's first solo album after the Beatles' split.) I have enough Beatles shirts to wear for weeks without repeating...

As for Buffy, I have a little Willow action figure. It's still in the box, and I won't open it. I have a Buffy shirt, the comics, a calendar, countless books, all the Buffy and Angel DVDs, and a few autographs from Nicholas Brendon.

I have a bunch of Marilyn Manson shirts, every CD, and Antichrist Superstar on painted vinyl, as well as a bag, Manson's book, and some patches for clothes.

Those are my three main fandoms.

That is an AWESOME amount of Beatles stuff. :D
I don't have that much stuff, but there are a LOAD of things I'd love to get if I had the money. Nothing really bizarre I don't think...

Hmm, I have a Hufflepuff tie, with the crest on it and all that. From the GoF film merch I think. I have a Kadaj plushie that one of my friends bought me for my birthday this year <3 (From Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children.) I also have an Edward Cullen doll. Don't give me that look, it was a gift. He lives on top of my wardrobe and has about 70 layers of dust on him. No, I'm not an obsessive Twilight fan, before you ask.
Oh I also have a firefly shirt!

And probably a few other bits and bobs that I can't think of right now. I have a load of tshirts.

I don't think any of these are particularly strange. Apart from the Edward Doll.

yay kadaj plushie!
my boyfriend just bought me Buffy top trumps 🙂 I also have all the buffy/angel DVDS loads of Buffy novels, all the Buffy Comics and the watchers guide/angel guide from when they first came out.

Non Buffy I have a programme from every concert I've ever been to and a christina aguilera and glee t shirt again from concerts. I also have an At-At circa 1980ish living in my wardrobe.

I managed to get a giant cardboard cut out of the promo poster of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets from my primary school years ago. Still have it now actually.

I don't have anything strange, I have regular things like a little doll of Sideshow Bob from The Simpsons, a Super Mario keychain, t-shirts of some good movies: Life of Brian, The Goonies, Christmas Vacation, 2 of A Clockwork Orange, The Godfather and Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
I have posters of Pulp Fiction, Planet Terror, Se7en, The Great Dictator, Wolfcreek, Reservoir Dogs & yes A Clockwork Orange.
I'm waiting for Scream 4 to get released on blu-ray cos I will be getting a Ghostface mask along with it. I also have Spider-Man bed sheets!
