Your Favorite "Bad" Movies?

Not Another Teen Movie. That's the most stupid film in the world, it's just so funny.

Also, Very Bad Things, about the guys who kill a hooker at a bacholer party and end up on a killing spree to keep the secret. That's a really bad film but I love it.

Don't think i've seen that but it sounds good 😉

Another is Dead Man on Campus, i've watched it so many times, ok I fess its up because I had a crush on Zack from Saved By The Bell and he was in it...but I was young.

Greece 2 was another stinker but it did have Adrian Zhmed in it, my first crush.

I've never actually seen Hocus Pocus, I meant to but just never got around to it.

I liked Forces of Nature which some would consider to be a 'bad' movie. And Regarding something that KendraTVS commented on in my posts...yup Affleck was indeed 'da bomb in phantoms' 😀

Wow Forces of Nature? eek. Even me who *loves* Ben Affleck and *loves* Sandy Bullock and *loves* Romantic Comedies was kinda annoyed with that one...I didn't feel any chemistry between them at all.

I think my favorite "bad" movie would have to be Hocus Pocus. I would watch that everyday when I was younger. It just rocked that much ...

Neat thread, by the way. 🙂

I still love Hocus Pocus. I watch it whenver HBO shows it on HBO Family. Everyone should love every bit of it from Bette Midler singing "I put a spell on you" to the very precocious and cutie pie first view at Thora Birch.
When Thackery Binks goes to meet his sister at that end..
I get all teary eyed.

and thnx :silly:

Anyone love Don't tell mom the babysitters dead? Of course I think that might have gotten good reviews. It was/is awesome.

Not Another Teen Movie and Dude,Wheres my Car? ..those movies were so funny, even if they were a little lame,oh,Dont Tell Mom The Babysitters Dead is also a good one 🙂

I think my favorite part of that movie is when they sing at the Halloween party. Ooh, and when Kathy Najimy rides off on a vacume. I'm sorry, but that's just comedy gold. :silly:

I love Don't tell Mom the Babysitter's dead...Christina Applegate rules!!

Also, big fan of Mark Paul Gosselaar of SBTB fame in Dead Man on Campus...he's awesome now on NYPD blue...and he looks so much like my b/f with his dark hair now.

I don't really remember how it was perceived by critics because I was 5 when it came out, but Goonies will always be one of my guiltiest pleasures.

Wow, I also love Hocus Pocus... I used to watch it all the time with my sister when I was a little younger... my friends and I now walk like the they did, y'know with moving their feet out to the sides at the same time? Lol I dunno if I can describe it. It's interesting though 😉.

I've seen quite a few of these in my time....but the one that immediately springs to mind for me is SHOWGIRLS.

Sure the dialogue was ridiculous, as were many of the situations....but it was amusing to me. Lol.

I mean....how can you go wrong with scenes such as the one where one dancer's two small children are shocked to hear the use of the "F" word from another dancer......as all the while the two kids are standing in a room full of topless women? It can't get much crappier than that! 😛

I really wanted to see Good Burger because I like Keenan and Kel even tho no one else does. They're just good fun!

No i'm with you on that one, I loved Keenan and Kel and even used to do the 'Orange Soda line'...Who loves orange soday?

Showgirls I never wanted to see and never have. I was shocked a few weeks back when one of my friends turned round and went 'I finally saw The Lost Boys, like you said I should, for a cheesy movie it was not bad but nothing special.'

Needless to say I was left with my mouth open trying not to swear....The Lost Boys...Bad Movie..they don't belong in the same senetence.

I liked Dude where's my car, and I really want to see Good Burger. It was on TV once but I only caught the last 10 minutes.

Yup great line. Who loves orange soda? I do, I do , I dooooeooooo.

Ooh, I thought of another one! Drop Dead Gorgeous! The one with Kirsten Dunst and Kirstie Alley. No one I know of liked it, but I love it. It's where all these girls compete in a beauty pageant and a bunch of crap happens. Hilarious.

Yeah that movie was disturbing...so was Jawbreaker...and along the same lines...Heathers.
I really liked "Heathers" - possibly Christian Slater's and Winona Ryder's finest moment 🙂 Was it really considered a "bad" film when it came out? The problem of being a teen/high school film I guess - no-one looked beyond the apparent genre...

Yes, I remember a certain young lady would dash off whilst talking to her on MSN so she could catch the re-runs of TJ Hooker! :laugh1:

I also agree, Grease 2 was appalling. Definitely one of the worst films I have seen, although I recently watched one called 'Immortel' and afterwards I was left thinking what the hell the point of the movie was at all! ::huh1::
