Your Favorite Fast Food

I've just reached that magical age when the doctors seem to delight in telling me all the things that I can no longer do or have, primarily what foods I can and can't eat. (I'm sure gonna miss Whoppers and Dr Pepper) but that just got me to wondering, what is your favorite fast food?

In order to qualify as "fast food," this has to be something that you would buy while away from home and be able to eat "on the run," either walking or driving. No sit down full course meals, salads, or food prepared at home in advance. So, what's yours?

Mine, before the Doctors decided to change my lifestyle, was the Burger King Whopper and large Dr Pepper. Fries optional.
 
Subway is my guilty pleasure.
Ham on 6 inch wheat bread, with cheese, then toasted, then with lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes.

YUMMY.

I'm not sure if they're classed as a 'fast food' but I eat waaaaay too many packets of crisps. I often tell my mum not to buy them...but does she listen?
 
I'm an old school Mickey D's kinda guy. Give me a nice Chicken Ranch BLT with fries and a vanilla shake on the side, and I'm peachy keen. 😉

I have not had McDonalds in about...10+ years ;) and will never eat it again! muahaha
I think I'd have to say my favorite from all the places I've tried is White Castle, followed closely by Wendy's!! Yummmm
 
^ I'm with WWGD on the White Castle train. I had gallbladder surgery two years ago and am also limited in what tasty treats I can scarf on.....but the good doctor said it it was okay to have things like White Castle in strict moderation.

White Castle, beeotches! It's what you crave! 😀

Kentucky Fried Chicken!!

It's so terrible for you, and I haven't had it in 10+ years, but I still have found memories of buckets of KFC chicken.

I've been a vegetarian for 11+ years, and the only thing I miss is fried chicken.

But speaking of McDonald's, I only found out Americans and Canadians call it Micky D's the other day when talking about it with the exchange students at my college. The Canadian guy said they also call it Mick Dick's. That's so weird to me because we say Macca's. Haha 😀

I don't really like fast food anymore.

Well burger king I love. Although Subway may be my new favorite. I have been sticking with that one over Burger King. It used to be Wendys for a while there.

We don't have a white castle where I live but we have a Krystal's kind of reminds me of it by the pics.
 
Oh man, I'm in that special part of the midwest where there quit being Krystal's but yet to be White Castles so no sliders for me. Also, the Micky D's thing... so reminds me of Pulp fiction... Royale with cheese. Any way we do have Sonic's here.. drive-in stuff... with never ending soda fountain mixing posabilities... and cheesey tatter-tots what isn't to like?
 
I could never eat McDonalds after seeing Supersize Me I've had it like three times in the past ten years lol but that doesn't stop me from having Checkers which I'm sure is just as bad I just didn't have to see it lol.

But mostly if I get fastfood I eat Pizza or Subways. Or Taco Bell!! I love Taco Bell lmao

And I don't know if this counts but I LOVE those create your own salad places I'm like addicted to them but theyre so damn expensive! It is fast food, you order it and take it out and eat it in the car XD lol
 
I don't know if this really counts, but lately I've been into the gourmet food trucks that are taking over LA. They have a truck for everything; pancakes, cupcakes, tacos, Korean BBQ...you name it there is a truck for it. My two favorites are The Grilled Cheese Truck and The Gastrobus. Can't go wrong with all the yummy cheesy goodness! 😀

As a Philly native living in NYC, I can vouch for the food truck love.
In N Out....In N Outttttt...that's what.......I'll stop.

I actually hate fast food...but In N Out is my weakness. I love it, my love for it is so intense. I try to have it maybe once every other month because that just makes it so much more enjoyable. I think I have a problem. When I found out that they funded the Prop 8 campaign (they supported the "yes" vote on it...yes = gay people should not be allowed to get married, not cool) I sighed and said to my friend who had just delivered the bad news, "Oh.well."

I don't even eat meat, I go there for their fricken grilled cheese (and fries and a neapolitan shake). I could eat In N Out everyday for a week (and then not have it for the rest of the year). I also enjoy Subway. I get the veggie delite, which is every single vegetable that they have (except jalapenos) and provolone cheese. Nothing more, nothing less. The people who work there look at me like I'm a freak every.single.time. when I tell them that I don't want any condiments! 😉

Well fast food was all about cheese for me, and I can't eat cheese anymore. 🙁 I think my favourite fast food now a days is vegetarian sushi. So yummy. I don't know if it qualifies, but that's what I have anyway. 🙂

and yes! Cheese!! I am addicted to cheese, seriously. I haven't been to the grilled cheese truck yet...I am afraid I'll be too overwhelmed. Oh man, that is my absolute dream come true. Well, my food related dream anyway 😉

Mine has got to be McDonalds Sweet Chilli Chicken Deli with fries and a diet coke 🙂 I get the diet coke because I like the taste better 🙂

I also love Dominos pizza, I think there the best but just way to expensive!
