Out of every single main character that has featured on either BtVS or Angel, who has been your number 1 favorite and why?

Mine is obviously Cordelia Chase. Mainly because i admire her independence and i also love how she is never afraid to say whats on her mind, no matter what it is. I've also loved how she's matured since moving to Los Angeles, taking on the burden of the visions, facing death because of them and coming out on the other side, never complaining once because she knew life with Angel and the gang was her destiny. Plus, it goes without saying that Charisma Carpenter is one totally kick ass actress and an amazing person to boot.

What's everyone elses choice and why?
 
Lilah. She's strong, empowered, witty and she's really made her way in a man's world.

Lindsey, I could never figure out if he was truly evil or just doing his best in the circumstances that he was presented with. He's a multi-layered character. Closely running with Doyle who I loved since his first appearance, funny and sweet with a heart of gold.
 
Same as Faithers up there... Mr Lawyer fella... dunno why there's just something about his story... but Faith would come close second, everyone loves a bad girl 😛

My favorite is Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. Such a well developed character. We've seen Wes experience everything a human can and more. I love the intelligence and geekiness we've first seen that has given way to a badass. Yet we've never lost that sense of smarts and relatability that Wes has always had. Alexis Denisof is an amazing actor.

Faith and Oz, brightened the show up when they were on screen for two totally different reasons. Oh and a little bit o' xander too
 
Well, my answer is obviously Fred.

I guess i just admire the character for being able to survive in such a hostile environment for so long, and then being able to adapt to a totally different world and way of life. I also loved hows she's changed from the shy book geek in to the friendly, confident and mature female figure, which is no easy task.

Plus, you gotta love some of her quotes and little quirks that bring that much needed bit of humour to the show.

Very close second behind Fred would be Spike, cuz he's smart, funny and let's face it, damn sexy!
 
Buffy for sure. I just have loved watching her grow into her role as the slayer. And I just find SMG has a knack for the get you in the gut dramatics.
 
Is "all of 'em" a valid answer?

What a tough question! I think if I had to pick one favorite, I'd go with Willow. Today, anyway. 🙂 I like the vulnerable high-school Willow much more than addiction-plagued super-Willow, but any Willow is good Willow.
 
Andrew is mine favorite just becausehe's hilarious but also at the same time very deep. Plus, he's the sole reason Season 7 had alot of funny in it
