What is your favorite BTVS season?

I really enjoyed season 3 and season 6.
I loved Season 3 for the fightt scenes and season 6 for the story!

I think I love Season 6 a little bit more because the newer speciall-effects!

Season 3 is my favorite. I felt like everything I could ever want in the show was there: drama, comedy, romance, betrayal, action... It was completely awesome!

My ranking goes like this:

For me, Season 3 was the most solid, through and through. I thought it had the best plotlines, best dialogue, best balance of levity and darkness.

But because my favorite character makes an appearance in only one episode that season, it's not my "go-to" season to watch. That would be 5, (which I think is second best when it comes to the above).
That being said, other seasons have absolute gems and flesh out some of my very favorite story arcs of all time.

So...which is my favorite? I don't know! 😛
 
For me season 2 and 3 are duking it out for the top, as it is I went with season 2 for the story-telling and partly the nostalgia.

Season 3 for me, it had it all. Season 2 is not far behind though.

When I first watched the entire series from beginning to end, I liked season 6 best and I still like it best.

I think it's the darkest and most serious season. It's very interesting to see everyone fight their problems.

The season 6 finale is also one of the most important or maybe the most important point of the entire series, in my opinion.

I'm sorry. I have decided long ago that I'm not picking my favorite season or the ranking. It's just too damn hard. Though I do prefer seasons 2, 4, and 5. It used to be 6, and then 4, and then it changed every week pretty much. That's why I'm not going to choose. Because I will change my mind anyway 😀
 
My favorite is constantly changing between Season 2 and 3. I went ahead and voted for 3 but 2 is pretty close behind.

It's definitely between 2 and 3. Grr...I feel like season 2 is better in terms of quality, but I enjoy watching season 3 more. They both have epic endings, and I think I prefer the Angel/Buffy fight more than the Faith/Buffy one, but yeah. Season 3 is my favorite.

Also, the battle at the end of 3 is just...grand. I envy those kids.

*edit: I really can't decide oh man. I'll pick them both. But I voted for 3.

Yeah, I'm pretty well aware of the comic continuation. That was just my way of saying they don't exist in my mind. 😉
 
I love Season 2 and Season 3. Season 2 is my favorite because of the Bangel in it and the introduction of Angelus. I love Season 3 because of Faith. Both these series have amazing fight scenes, the Buffy/Angelus and Buffy/Faith are so good because there almost both evenly matched!

It was really hard for me to put S6 in front of a Season with no Calendiles, but S6 is just really awesome. 😀
