Your favorite tv shows when you were a kid

Oh god, When I was really young I used to watch Sesame Street (Bert and Ernie in Dutch XD) and Fraggle Rock, and this show that was really popular in Belgium called 'Samson'

Then came the whole Sailor Moon, Dragonball phase (In French, so half the time I did not know what was going on) well basically I watched all anime on this French program called Club Dorothée (Juliette je t'aime, Candy Candy,...)

I also enjoyed the Flistones and the Jetsons, never was a big fan of Scoobie doo though...and your regular Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes.

Oh and 'The Storyteller' I loved that show!

Um what else,
Care bears
My little pony(I'm such a girl 😛)
The Snorks and Smurfs (Belgian Pride 😀)
Maple Town
Spoon Obasan (a Japanese show dubbed in Dutch as 'Vrouwtje theelepel')
The wizard of Oz (the Japanese anime)
Boos
Ovide and the Gang
Babar
The World of David the Gnome
the Animals of Farthing Wood,...
Disney shows like the Wuzzles, Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers

and this show about your body; I don't know how its called in English but in French it was "Il Etait une fois...la vie" and Liegebeest (a dutch puppet show)... I could go on 😀

once you start thinking about it you come up with loads and loads of shows you used to watch! I was a real tv addict it seams...ah nostalgia ^.^

Edit: Oh, maybe you guys can help, I used to watch this show (not animated) about a guy that fell out of a tree(house) or something and was in a coma and while being comatose he had this great adventure in a fantasy world... I can't remember what its called, does it ring a bell?

Depends how old you class as 'kid' since I've watched different things from being 3,4,5 etc. Well when I was a lot younger I watched stuff like:
Postman Pat
Come Outside
Teletubbies
etc
Then i watched stuff like
Care Bears
Rugrats
etc
I never really watched much tv when I was younger, until I was 7 or 8 and I started watching soaps and dramas and stuff 😛

I watched Come Outside with my little niece... it's so cute with the dog!
How young we talking here?

When I was a young kid, I shared a room with my older brother(by 6 years). My mother took me with her when she was shopping for wallpaper for the house, and I convinced her to buy Care bear paper for my room. My poor brother, I think he stopped bringing his friends to the house after that.

I watched the usual tosh. Cities of Gold, Turtles, Thundercats etc etc

Cheers was one of my favourite non cartoon shows, and the Wonder Years. Only Fools and Horses, the A team. I think shows like Quantum Leap and Roseanne came later. Eerie Indiana I watched.

It's at the top of the person's post. There's a little picture of a balance/scales and when you click on it there's a little box that pops up for you to write in. It adds to your reputation points when someone leaves you a little comment. You can also disagree with someone's post by choosing the "disagree" option but I tend not to do that as it takes the person's rep points away.

Ok... back on topic...

I used to watch Little House on the Prairie on sundays... I loved it! (good one kanani)

Hee hee... The Walton's! "G'night Jim Bob!"
Honestly, i miss old school Nickelodeon. It was when i was older, around 9 or 10 that i watched these shows:

Salute Your Shorts
Pete & Pete
Hey Dude
Wild & Crazy Kids
Legends of the Hidden Temple
Are You Afraid of the Dark
Clarissa Explains It All
Ren & Stimpy

Shame, i really want Salute Your Shorts or Hey Dude on DVD. They have a couple of the others shows, but not those yet (and they were my favorite).

Before The Waltons

Yeah i don't like the 'disprove thingy' either...bad karma!!

Did you ever see the movie "Spencer's Mountain?" It's the movie that The Waltons was based on. It's the same story, the same writer, and basically the same family except for the name, of course, and they lived in the Grand Teton Mountains rather than the Blue Ridge. It starred Henry Fonda, Maureen O'Hara.

I didn't really watch much TV when I was younger but whenever I did, it was mostly nickelodeon. I was obsessed with Sabrina the teenage witch for a while, it was cos of that show I wanted to get a black cat 😀

I also watched the Fresh Prince Of Belair, Saved by the bell, Saved by the bell: the college years, Rugrats and recess.

Ooh and when I was even younger, I watched Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, SuperTed and probably some more I can't remember.

No I have never seen that...wonder if I could get my hands on it?
