My music taste is so eclectic I usually define it by what I don't like: rap, hip-hop, country, bluegrass, and that really screamy heavy metal (like Pantera).
Just to give you an idea of how eclectic I am, here's the singers/bands with more than 1 album on my mp3 player:
"Weird" Al Yankovic, Alice in Chains, Bon Jovi, Christophe Beck (duh), The Cranberries, Curve, Dethklok, Delerium, Dido, Enigma, Enya, Eurythmics, Evanescence, Full Blown Rose, Garbage, Juno Reactor, Korn, Lacuna Coil, Loreena McKennit, Marilyn Manson, Mediaeval Baebes, Mythos, No Doubt, Soundtracks (such as Labyrinth, The Lost Boys, The Matrix, and Neverending Story), Pink, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Sarah McLachlan, Switchblade Symphony, Unto Ashes, and Vast.

Have I mentioned I really like music in general?

yay for lost boys ost (and labyrinth but that kinda goes without saying, but i did lol) my sisters knicked the lost boys ost, and the dvd actually, fantastic 80s music!
I don´t understand people who just listen to one kind of music. Well, I do but that´s way to boring for me. It really depends on my mood. Metal works fine then I´m angry, turn up the music and let the aggression get out instead of going out looking for a fight or smash something up. Partying with metal? I guess it´s kinda works with the "lighter" versions but I prefer something else. My feet wants to move! To bad I can´t dance. Coming home from work in the summer or spring, go out on the balcony (in the shadow of course), open a beer (I´m not much of a drinker otherwise) and listen to opera is unbelievable relaxing. Just to give som exampels.

Some of my favourite artists are: Nightwish, Within temptation, Point of grace, Metallica, Shainia Twain, Cardigans, Depeche Mode, Lil Kim, Dream theater, Beyonce/Destiny´s child and an old swedish band called Gyllene Tider (with the male singer from Roxette if anyone remembers them?). And I listen to soundtracks and classical as well. Going nostalgic with 80´s music happens a lot too. But my computercollection contains everything from Weird Al Yankovic, through West life, Eminem and Rammstein to Paul Potts.

I forgot to mention Within Temptation! Karma!
I went for rock, pop, country and other ('cos I couldn't see reggae/ska 🙂) but I really can't think of a musical genre I don't like. There are bands and singers I'm not keen on but I mostly recognise that they're good at what they do. I suppose if I were forced to chose just one...well, it all comes back to rock...my favourite bands have to be Led Zeppelin and The Clash, which kind of dates me I guess 🙂

SKA RULES!
I love music full stop. I'm secretly angry with God that I was born with NO musical talent whatsoever, especially considering both sides of my family all have amazing singers and musicians...If I sound bitter it's because I am😀

Ok moving on, I ticked all the boxes because I really do listen to all types of music. I love hip-hop and rap it's probably what I listen to the most but apart from yoddeling I don't think their is a genre I don't like. Here's some of the people I have on my iTunes.

Eminen, Nas, Tupac, Christina Aguliera, Justin Timberlake, James Taylor, The Eagles, Alicia Keyes, Led Zepplin, Dashborad Prophet, Staind, Nirvana, The Killers, Fall Out Boy, Faithless, Kasabian, Oasis, Blur, Gorillaz, Damien Rice, Ray La Montagne, Gavin DeGraw, John Legend, Bob Marley, Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Alanis Morrisette, Bif Naked, Otis Redding, BB King, Hendrix, Clapton, George Micheal, Al Green, Etta James, Foo Fighters, David Gray, Sarah McLachlan, Greenday, Thinn Lizzy, Linkin Park, Artic Monkeys, Cibo Matto, The Corrs, Don McLean, Dr.Dre, Ludacris, Jay Z (Sometimes), Garth Brooks (yeah I admit it), No Doubt, INXS, U2, Jeff Buckley, Kelly Clarkson, Fugees, Lauryn Hill, Tracy Chapman, Mary J Blige, Moloko, Muse, Placebo, NWA, Paolo Nutini, Pink, Robbie Williams, Snow Patrol, Snopp Dogg, The Verve, T.I., Gym Class Heroes, Duffy, Timbaland, Fergie, The Band, Sam Cooke, The Pogues, The Wolfe Tones, Christophe Beck, Andre Bochelli, NERD and God knows how many others that I can't think of now.

i voted pop and rock because that's mainly what i listen to.

my ipod is dominated by the various Buffy soundtracks, Duran Duran and Keane then i have a range of artists that cover a wide spectrum of genres.

I voted for Rock, but I like Classical, a little bit of country (like some really old stuff....Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Sr., etc.), and Metal, too.

Metal or Rock. My MP3 Player is full of Rammstein, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Papa Roach, My Chemical Romance. Also some Avril Lavinge in there too

Yay Stranglers!
I like a little bit of everything...except older country music, and bluegrass-type stuff. Other than that, my LEAST favorite genre would probably be rap, but there are a few rap songs that I like. My FAVORITE type is rock - all different kinds. But I have a pretty varied taste in music. I like everything from Metallica to Enya. 🙂

I definitely prefer Rock. \m/

Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Black Sabbath, etc.

I like some other stuff, but its the genre I listen to most.

I also like power ballads. For some reason I like songs that make me cry. I don't know why, I just do.

Metal=80's and early 90's. New metal isn't my thing, too commercial for me. And i listen some blues too, gary moore is only bluesartist what i listen. But nothing beats the feeling what i get from listening Master of puppets or Reign in blood

ska..... i love soundtracks, some rap/hip hop stuff but either the obvious as i have no knowledge in that area or old school 80s stuff, rock in all forms (mostly old school rock tho, cant really be doing with the pants out now, not that theres not the odd song i like... but i really am an oldie when it comes to rock music) and oh country, the music of pain (actually have been getting into folk stuff, trying to expand from what i usually listen to so i like horns in my ska and fiddles in my folk) LOL

Mmmh well, my most listened and so favorit type is metal, but I also listen to other styles, I mean it's just so "stupid" to say "my style is only this, so I won't listen anything else".
