Your favourite types of music

As long as it's not popular, I like it. I still haven't heard Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, or Nicki Minaj.

75% of my music is punk, the rest is some form of alternative. The new Metric and Propagandhi has been playing on my ipod lately.
 
I really like pop music. Epic sounding music, regardless of the genre, is something I'm really into as well.

Just going by artist, I really like most of the stuff Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Karmin and Fun have come out with.

I like Eminem a lot...usually. I find that when he's on, and when he's rapping about something deep and meaningful, he's one of my favorite musicians ever. He has some very hard-hitting songs that stick with me.
 
I pretty much like any type of music. Well, except for opera and hardcore rap, that is. My favorite type of music would most certainly have to be pop music going by my music collection. I also love musical soundtracks. I have so many of those! I also love movie scores and rock music. My favorite artist if of course Madonna. I love pretty much everything she has ever recorded. The way she switches music styles between albums is nothing short of amazing. I love that she is always willing to experiment and try something new and different. On her criminally underrated 1994 album "Bedtime Stories" she did the song "Bedtime Story" which was very electronic sounding, and had a trance-like sound to it. Her next album "Ray Of Light" built on that, and then the electronic sound became popular. She's always been ahead of the curve. 😀 I also love ABBA (they made some of the most brilliant pop music ever recorded. Listen to their album "The Visitors" to hear what I'm talking about), Christina Aguilera, Mandy Moore, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, Cyndi Lauper, The Scissor Sisters, and Britney Spears.
 
Vocal Dance/trance/techno Give me a strong female lead and Im surely to listen.
