Listening to the radio earlier, they mentioned a name I haven't heard in years and reminded me of the embarrassing childhood crush I had on the guy.

My first crush was an actor who was massive in the late 80s, but whose star has faded since. He starred in massive comedy franchises. He's been in the police, a surrogate father and a robot inventor 😛

His name was Steve Guttenberg, and I was pretty sure I was going to marry him when I was 8 😀

It was probably Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark. For some reason Harrison Ford wasn't as attractive to me as Han Solo, who came first. Jones was smart, funny, stubborn, goofy and loved a tough-as-nails, hard-drinking equal of a woman. Plus, y'know, his smile. I do think a lot of Indy comes from Ford, who spent most of the 70s/80s high as a kite. I think he still partakes even now (he's a funny old guy). Rick Deckard had the same effect, but he was much more serious.

Might I add though, when I was like 5 I had a crush on Brock from Pokemon, now that has to beat everyone for most embarrassing crush.
