Your First Episode of BtVS

Welcome to the Hellmouth. I watched the show in french when it aired in 1997. It's really a long time ago so I can barely remember what was my first impression.(even more considering I watched from the start in english like 10 years later and it felt very different) But I wasn't a big fan right then. I remember liking Giles. His first scene made me laugh. I thought it was a bit cliché, and I wasn't into vampire stories or anything like that.

I think the biggest thing was that I couldn't really connect with any of the characters. I remember liking the theme song, though. 🙂
 
I think the 1st episode i saw was Prophecy Girl that my aunt taped on video when I was 7 or 8 and I really liked it, I was quite sad when Buffy 'died' but the main reason I started to watch it was because I just fell in love with SMG😛 lol
 
I remember the first episode i watched was "Bewitched, Bothered, & Bewildered". My dad's friend watched it at our house alot so one day it caught my eye. I was 12 or 13 and I remember really liking Xander's character and Buffy, she seemed like such a badass women figure. I started watching it religiously on the tv everday on FX after that. I became addicted fast. I never watched them all in order until bout a year ago actually when i bought all seasons for myself and did a rewatch. In the beginning i just watched what aired on tv until I had seen them all. Now I have seen them all atleast 7 or more times apiece and watch them bout once a week. Buffy will always have a place with me 🙂
 
Saw the premiere here in the US. I had seen the movie and when I saw the buzz on AOL (lol), I decided to give it a shot; I had seen reruns of Wonder Woman and Bionic Woman as a kid.
 
Mine was "Welcome to the Hellmouth." I watched the show from beginning to end on DVD. In the first twenty minutes of the episode I knew it would become my favorite show. It was love at first watch. I found the show so unique and engaging. I loved the characters and the premise.

Every time I see you on here I pray to find a memory spell just so I can rewatch both shows for the "first" time.
Hush was my first episode, but I found it too scary. Next, I watched Real Me, which I liked and it got me hooked.
 
The first ever part of Buffy I saw was the ending of I only have eyes for you, I didnt know what it was though at the time. The first full episode of Buffy I ever saw was Bargaining Part1, my neighbour bought me season 6 part 1 on video just before my birthday, at the time I was obsessed with charmed. From the moment I hit the play button I was drawn into it. I even remember the date!! 11th October 2006 🙂
 
The first episode I ever watched, as many of you already know, was 'Once More, With Feeling'. I believe that if you see anything other than the first episode first, certain things will stay with you. I saw things like Season Six, Dawn, Tara and Spuffy first and so those things have stayed some of my favourites. It's the reason that I love season six and don't hate Dawn. But I remember kind of pretending in my mind that I wasn't enjoying the episode because I was watching it in class and the rest of them were kind of looking at it like it was a joke. But I was totally on Mr. Goddard's side thinking that it was pretty damn awesome. I actually went straight to the library after that and got onto the computer to research it. 😀

I caught one episode on TV when I was about 8, it was "I Robot, you Jane", I think. Then my mum decided I was too young to watch this violent show 😛 So I didn't watch it again, then read a couple of the books from my local library. Think the first episode I saw after this was one of the early-mid Season 6 episodes, and after a few more Season 6 episodes, I bought the Season 2 DVD. So a wierd order indeed XD
 
The very first episode I ever saw was "The Witch". It was entertaining for me, but it didn't suck me in til I saw "Lie To Me".
