Ok so i was wondering what all you guys hoped to do in the future as a job or career???? Or what you were wanting to study at a collage or university?


i want to go into the film indusrty... eihter a movie director or an actress...

u guys??
 
I'm one of those kids who has yet decided what career path to go down.

I have no special talents and not really good at any specific subject so...
 
Archaeologist. Like Indiana Jones only less male and middle aged, but I think I'll need a whip and a cool hat.

Or possibly teaching. Anyhow whatever I do I need to be able to move, a lot, I'm a restless type of person and I can't really see how that will change in a near future so to be able to travel and move all over the place is gonna be important to me.

I almost forgot to tell you about the "Latex Woman", that's my friend and she's always gonna wear latex and be all Lara Croft and help me on my adventures (that's after I've got my archaeology degree) and we're gonna kick arse all over the world. Our first adventure is expected to take place somewhere in South America.
 
i'm studying interior design at the moment, so that's what a want to do, something along those lines...maybe a set dresser or something. i'm also a qualified photographer, so if that other career goes down the pan, i have a back up. lol
i love writing as well, so maybe i'll try something in that area...hmm, maybe i'm not as decided as i thought i was!

I'm one of those too, I'm not really good at anything to be honest. I'm pretty good in school, usually, but not good enough to work with any of it in the future.

The things I am interestested in are film and writing. But I know I wouldn't be a good script-writer, and I don't have the confidence I'd need to be an actress or director... I'd love to work with movies, but for now I'm okay with just studying them. I really want to study film, and write about that too... I love writing movie reviews... I know that's nothing I can make a lot of money on, but that's the only thing I can do... I'd probably end up a poor lame journalist (like my parents 🙁 (except they're not lame, they're both really cool, heh))...
 
I wanted to be a lawyer when I was growing up, but I kinda let go of that a while back.....would be fun I think, but school and I just don't get along very well. Now I'm trying to start my own business....slow going, but that's ok with me, too.
 
Well, lets see, I'm only really good at history, writing, and watching movies. I think i'll be a history major and then a movie critic. Kay? Kay.
 
For about 7 years of my childhood I wanted to be a teacher. But a few years after I got over that, I wanted to be a scientist. But, since my friends and I started a band over the summer, that'd probably take up alot of my time. I haven't let the idea go yet, but yea. But if all else fails, I'm becoming a teacher. 🙂
 
LMAO @ Andy. I have the same thing. I'm mayoring in English, so if I can't find anything nicer, I'll settle for becoming a teacher, but I'd really like to work in the film industry or maybe do a PhD.
 
I honestly have no idea..at the moment I'm doing my degree in Psychology&Criminology..but as far as my future job goes I only know I want to work in an office and have a secretary🙂
 
I am going to be a Police Officer. I have one more year of school then I should be on my way!!!!!!!!!!
 
I used to want to be a Journalist but then grew out of that. After that I had my heart set on joining the Police force but with my epilepsy that was the end of that. I then ended up doing a Law degree, liked it but didn't want to be a lawyer so looked into social work to be a social worker.

Now i'm working as a legal secretary before going for my paralegal in property law. Basically doing what the lawyer does but no court work. I figured if i'm going to be a secretary for a while I might as well be a legal secretary as they are amoung the highest paid.

All that aside I actually love my job, it makes a difference actually enjoying your work for a change.
 
At first,I wanted to be a teacher.But that was when I was like ten so I changed my mind.Then I wanted to be a journalist but I changed my mind about that too.After that,I wanted to be an actor.I'm actually taking an acting class in college too but I've changed my mind again.Now I want to be a lawyer so I'm going to change my major.I'll probably change my mind about that also.

It really does make a difference when you love your work. The job I have now is the best I've had since getting out of the military almost 6 years ago. I can honestly say that I love this job, and it's good for me, because I'm not doing the exact. same. thing. every day. I need a little variety, I don't do well in a monotonous job.
 
I've always wanted to be a cashier (since i was 3) so im gonna get a job at target soon. I want to be an actress...but so do millions of others in the world, so good luck to me.
 
When I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut - cosmonaut would also have been acceptable 🙂 - I studied for a degree in business studies and more than twenty years later I'm a civil servant in a really pissed-off, hating the management sort of way 😉...I really should've persevered with the astronomy, sciences and so forth...but then again, if I had I'd never have met Mrs P...
 
When I was little I wanted to be an ice skater and a teacher.

Right now, I cannot skate (and I never could).

But I wanted to be a teacher, and that's what I am. I went through a few other possible positions (Editor, writer about biology....) but in the end I went with teaching. It was something that I've always wanted, and I work well with kids. I can safely say that I think I'm where I'm supposed to be. Except for those days where I have stabbings in the classroom....
 
I wanna be an actor, in one way or another, I'm trying to figure out what kind of actor, and right now I have different ideas about it every day almost.
