The Hobbit is my most anticipated movie. I'll also see Dark Knight Rises, Brave, probably Prometheus, and Much Ado About Nothing if it ever plays anywhere I can see it.

The Avengers

WOOOOT I didn't know they were actually making it!! I thought that was just talk... Awesome news! 😀

Catching Fire! I can't wait. 😀

Frooley They're adapting World War Z into a movie?? That's awesome, I plan on reading the book this summer. 🙂

For this year:

Brave
Skyfall
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

2013:

Iron Man 3
R.I.P.D
Red 2
Thor 2
The Hobbit: There And Back Again

Honourable mention goes to Les Passages for this year, but that has been in 'pre-production' status for the past 2 years or so, so I doubt anything is going to come of it for this year. Next year, maybe.

There's plenty of movies that I will buy on DVD but I can only think of two movies I would like to watch properly, in a theater.

Prometheus
The Hobbit

Vamp Jenny agrees: They're making a Gambit movie As in X-Men Gambit?
Oh no, it's a Coen movie. Here's the description from IMDB:
An art curator decides to seek revenge on his abusive boss by conning him into buying a fake Monet, but his plan requires the help of an eccentric and unpredictable Texas rodeo queen.

Starring Cameron Diaz, Alan Rickman, Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth 😀

Aww too bad, I would've loved another X-Men movie XD

These days, the amount of good movies available are scarce at best. The only upcoming movie I'm interested in seeing is Much Ado About Nothing, and of course that's by Joss Whedon. If anything, I'm anticipating a certain TV series coming back with its final season this summer......and its initials are BB. 😀

SlayerOfVampyrs
Breaking Bad karma! Though I personally don't consider this its last season, considering that they are splitting it up and not airing the next part til next year.

Aw Breaking Bad is sooo good. I'm sad to see it ending...
SlayerOfVampyrs ARE YOU SERIOUS!? How did I not know about this? They're seriously making us wait another year for the next half? How much more agony can we take!? 🙁

....Oh wait, this has nothing to do with the topic.....

I'm also anticipating.....um.....The Dark Knight.....Rose...Risen....Rises. Yeah. 😉

I know! It's absolutely ridiculous. Just seems to be that they are trying to milk it for all its worth. 🙁

I'm also looking forward to the 3D rerelease of The Little Mermaid next year. Not because of the 3D, but because it'll likely be in 2D as well, and I really want to see that movie on the big screen again.

As just about everyone here knows by now, my most anticipated movie of 2012/13 is "John Carter," the movie that both the studio and the so called "critics" have been trying for some inexplicable reason to kill since before it was even released. Well, to hell with studio executives and critics. I've waited 50 years to see this movie, and it was well worth the wait.

I just hope that I don't have to wait that long again for "John Carter2."
