Your Most Important Meal

I rarely eat breakfast. It screws with my blood sugar. If I eat a bunch of sugary stuff in the morning within an hour or so my blood sugar will bottom out and I pass out. I can't eat plain eggs (they make me ill) and bacon and sausage are too expensive, fattening and time consuming to eat every day. So either I have a late breakfast of cereal and then eat lunch 2 hours later (or some kind of snack) or I have one of those shakes, like slim fast (so chocolaty and don't seem to screw my blood sugar up too much) or I go without.

On the weekend I try to cook breakfast once for the kids. We usually have pancakes, sausage, bacon (all of which I eat) and eggs, toast, biscuits and gravy (which I don't eat--that's for hubby and the kids).

It varies from day to day. Sometimes I will have some Honey Nut Cheerios (or other cereal), on the weekends I really like having belgian waffles, eggs, toast, and bacon, then I also eat pop tarts (favorite flavor is brown sugar cinnamon), I am also known to have animal crackers for breakfast.
