I do love The Wish- that final fight scene with that creepy music where she just dusts all her loved ones without blinking an eye is just so haunting- and I love The Zeppo for the Xandercentricness of it all (and Cordy gets to be the uber bitca doesn't she? hehe. I love her 'I again I strike the nerve. I am the surgeon of mean') and it's so true, that he was totally cool in- so cool that he didn't *have* to tell people about. He is no longer The Boy Who Had No Cool. But just as The Wish/The Zeppo will always top your list, Band Candy will always be headin mine hehe

wicked sig! :)
Like Nabila, season three is also my favorite season. It's just full of fantasticness. But the episode I watch the most from this season has definitely gotta be, unquestionably, Band Candy. It's just fantastic.
-We get a return visit from Ethan
-Teenage!Snyder is just...just so hilarious. One of the best lines being 'Summers! You drive like a spaz!'
-As both a Giles and Joyce fan I love that the episode is pretty centric around this two and I just loved them both as teenagers. Especially when Joyce tells Buffy 'screw you' Buffy's face in reaction to those words is priceless. And Giles just whipsering to Buffy while she's talking to Ethan 'hit him again!'. Plus Joyce's teenagerdom-summed-up-in-one-look rejection of Snyder is just classic too.
-Giles/Joyceness (Joyles?!). I'm like the uber shipper for this couple (shame me, cheer me, you decide) so this was just like a shipper's dream for me, haha. But I love the way they are towards each other at the end, hehe, and the accidental revealing of what they actually did, in Earshot.

I would tell you why Band Candy is my favorite, but slayer Comma The did it for me.

I can add one thing. When my husband came to bed the other night, I was already in bed watching TV. Hubby dearest asked, "What are you watching?" I smiled and replied, "Hot Giles." He rolled his eyes and went to sleep.

blah

Gotta say Anne it's one of my fave season openers.I love how Buffy is in LA with Lily and how everyone else is stuck in Sunnydale without her.I also really love Homecoming where Cordelia and Buffy get chased by all the crazy demons and vamps. Also love how Cordy tells that vampire off for mistaking her for a slayer and him just backing off, scared lol.

I love Anne too...my fav part is when Buffy turns to the demon and says 'I'm Buffy the Vampire Slayer and You are?'...brilliant

I've cried more than once while re-watching The prom... But I've watched Bad girls over and over. I saw 'Dopplegangland' many many times too, as I made a video based on VampWillow.

Lovers Walk, Amends and The Prom.

There my favorite Bangel episodes,

Always hard to choose a favorite. My top three would be
1. bad girls
2. lovers walk
3. earshot

bad girls has so many good quotes in it! like giles and "those hard to reach places" lol

1. The Prom - It really breaks my heart every time I see it, but still... I just love it. (As an Angel - fan I just simply CAN'T love this episode.)
2. The ep in which the First appeared in this season... Shames here, but I just can't recall the ep's title.... 😵 Anyways, same reasons here: Angel - fandom.
3. The Zeppo - This ep was real fun to watch. I like Xander, especially when he's funny. (and in the first three seasons he always was THE funny guy.)
4. The Wish - loved the 'what if Buffy hadn't come to Sunnydale' - idea, and also the 'Xander - Willow as vampires' - thing.
5. Doppelgangland - I loooooooved the 'vampire Willow' - thing. XD

There isnt a single episode of Buffy I dont like - Honest!
but a few faves I have watch the most:

Revalations - Not sure why I like this so much.

The Wish - The Master snapping Buffys neck!

Doppelgangland - 2 Willows are better than 1 !

Helpless - So dramatic/emotional with Giles' betrayal of Buffys trust

I agree with you in that 'loving all the Buffy episodes' part! It's the same for me! It was quite hard a decision to make when I chose only one eppy as the best one in this season. For me, the third is the best season. But anyways, The Prom got my vote coz it always breaks my heart and makes me cry but you know... in a good way. I mean, okay, there's that whole breaking up thing but the 'I will always love you' - thing is also implied... Kinda romantic and beautiful and all... Now it makes me sigh. 😛

Oh, yeah! I almost forgot about mentioning Helpless! It's also one of my all time favourite Buffy episodes! I love Giles, and this episode showed and introduced clearly the caring, fatherly figure behind the Watcher's mask.

I'll go with The Wish and Earshot. The Wish was cool because I love alternate takes on reality. Buffy becomes like Faith without coming to Sunnydale and Xander and Willow as vampires was really cool.

I liked Earshot because of not only the way it dealt with school violence and suicidal tendencies of socially isolated adolescents, but it was freakin hilarious at the end when Buffy tells Giles, "Maybe you can fit it in your schedule when you're not having sex with my mother." Classic! I laugh at that scene everytime!

I watched Bad Girls over and over again. Because of the great tension that is their during the whole episode. Buffy is living on the edge of going with Faith, going of the deep bad end. But in the end realizes that she's the slayer, to do good. And not to have fun. It's something she was made for, and I believe that Buffy is really one to help others above everything else. She'll risk her life over and over for the ones she loves (hint the end of S5) and she realizes in time (or maybe not, cause there died someone on excident) that she can't go on with what they are doing.

I always find myself rewatching Anne.I think it's an underrated episode as it shows Buffy trying to escape her old life and all her old problems.I'm re-watching the whole of Season 3 now.

The Prom, has my favorite Buffy and Willow scene ever when they're on Buffy's bed after she and Angel broke up.

The top 3 I voted for were:
1. Lovers Walk (what can i say, I'm a Spike fan 🙂)
2. The Wish
3. Dopplegangland (Everytime after I watch The Wish I want to immediately skip to this episode, its all i can do to get myself to watch the ones in between first eventhough they're great too, lol)

It is totally The Prom for me. I even have these cute little action figures of Angel and Buffy in their outfits. I hang it on my wall and stare at it lovingly from time to time. Oh I love that episode. When Angel walks in even though they had officially broken up and Giles is all "sometimes people surprise you" and there he is. And they do not say a word but just come together and he holds her closely and they dance to "Wild Horses" which was originally done by the Rolling Stones but remade by Mazzy Star which I have on my ipod and is delightful and I cry and cry and cry . . . . . . . .
