So, what do you hope to accomplish next month year? Get a new job, eat healthier, learn a new language...what will make 2018 than 2017 for you?

1. Start jogging everyday again.

2. Find a permanent boyfriend.

3. Manage my money better.

4, Force myself to write everyday

I make the same resolution each year: to not resolve to do anything that I can't reasonably accomplish.

This year, I plan to avoid green vegetables, especially broccoli and asparagus.

I wouldn't have had any, but my mom reminded me today of one to add to the start of what will hopefully be a short list; I have this room divider... it's just been in pieces, collecting dust, since I bought it last year... I should probably get it up... create more space in my tiny home... 🙂

I'm so jealous of your white - decidedly not blue - snow on your banner.
Mine is more or less a New Semester resolution vs. New Year's resolution
I want to stop procrastinating so much on studying, so I want to try to start earlier so I can maybe get some sleep at some point
I also want to start back at the gym. School is stressing me out so I need a stress reliever.
Other than that I'm still going to be the same ole me.

I'd love to stop procrastinating too but I'll wait till next year
Yeah, I want to get more writing done as well. I want to also finish my list of books to read before I add anything else to it. I want to get my webpage finished and start my youtube channel. I also want to become more politically engaged (I drifted away this year out of disappointment).

I'm going to make a fandom resolution for the first time! I am going to write at least one of the three post-series fic ideas I have and actually learn to plot. It's so hard!

I'd love to read them
Yay! Ive been waiting for a New years thread! New years eve may be a rodeo for me, duno yet, if Im broke then home and toast it is.

My main resolution is to get off this horrible SSRI med. The side effects are just SO hard to handle! Im so freaking amazed at how much better my OCD is on this tiny single dose med than it was at a "therapeutic dose". I am scared of withdrawal in the next drop but its gotta be done, I need to function well enough to work, and its not happening when I randomly burst into giggles, song or cartwheels. I'd like that brain to mouth filter back up and working as it was before horrific medications. A job is certainly not happening when the akathisia is active. It' d be nice to have a fully functioning body and brain back l, but I wont know what damage is permanent until I am med free. So med free is my 2018 goal.

I'd also like to up my home food production to be less reliant on supermarket shopping.

Spending more time in nature is also on my list.

I'd like to continue bible study and this spiritual journey to find relief from pain and help others in the same quest.

I want to be more active in my community through volunteer work, its been difficult to adjust to such different surroundings and community culture, but Im ready to dive in for the new year.

good resolutions! I need to focus on community assistance too
Set up my new weight bench, hunt for and dust off my weights and use them. Not so much a resolution I just can't do it with the tree in the way. Trying to get some more regular exercise so I'm in better shape for football and table tennis. Maybe less drinking.

What I'd like is not the same as what I'll achieve. I find it can be a way to be disappointed with ourselves because we haven't changed within a spin roon the big star in the sky.

Anyways, I'd like to get fitter again, I've been hibernating this winter and exercise has fell by the wayside. Also come back to the boards. 😀

I miss your posts
I have to start getting rid of my lifetime accumulation of junk and specifically pare down my antique radios and test equipment because I have so much stuff that I can't really use my workbench anymore.

I have to figure out what to do with my novel that has been sitting on my "C" drive. It is complete, I just don't know what to do with it.

-Make headway with writing my dissertation, which I've been avoiding and procrastinating for so long the bigger it gets
-Got to conquer my late night sleep pattern and get to bed early, wake up early
-Get back to the gym
-Eat healthily in a regular way (which means giving in less to random cravings and being more disciplined)
-Start painting again
-Start buddhist prayers everyday for 10 minutes
-Got to stop fearing that bad things are going to happen all the time
