Your ringtone?

I don't have a ring tone. Am I lame? 😀

I just don't like mobile phones in general and hate typing messages and also talking on the phone.
I don't have a ring tone but I've vibration on.
 
I actually have different ringtones for different things...

I have the Buffy theme song for Facebook updates.
"F**king Perfect" by Pink for "random" texts.
The Angel theme song for MOST emails.
"Be Prepared" from The Lion King for my "Jackalina_hyena" email address.
And I have The Who's "Who Are You" for random callers. ~lol~
And then an assortment of ringtones for my friends and family.

Mine is violent femmes "gone daddy gone" for most my calls except two people:

My sis is the doom song from invader zim, and my hubby is the song from ferris bueller that goes "bom bom...chicka chick ah"

And then for text my phone goes "grrr.....aargh"

For texts, my phone makes this tinkling sound.
For all calls, I have the BTVS theme. 🙂
At Christmas I used to have Alvin and the Chipmunks singing 🙂
 
My text tone is the Zelda secret sound tone thingy. My ringtone for calls is My Chemical Romance's Na Na Na, and when I get a BBM it's the sound that coins make when Mario picks them up 😀
 
My ringtone is Dizzee Rascal - Dirtee Disco.

For all you Brits out there 😉

Oh, and my phones on vibrate for text. Standard, mate, standard.
 
I recently bought an LG smartphone (yes, I am caving to pressure......my personal technology is being upgraded), and I installed "The Forest Whispers My Name" from Cradle Of Filth as my ringer.

My wife hates it. She thinks I'm a satan worshipper now. 😛

I'm so impressed by all this. I have an iPhone, I just don't know how to do ringtones (so, I guess I'm lame mayfever, right? 😉). So, if someone wants to help me....

I have a ringtone for different people lol

I've got All The Right Moves and Good Life by One Republic as my two main ringtones and Breakeven by the Script, Hurricane by 30 Seconds to Mars, Just the way you are by Bruno Mars. And for creditors/people I dont know Kiss with a Fist by Florence and the Machines lol 😛

I don't have an iPhone, but is there card access? For example how do you put photos on the phone? If you use a sound editing program to clip what you want from an mp3, you should be able to get it on your phone. If not with card access, then perhaps by email or texting it from your computer.

When my husband calls on his cell, it's a snippet from Anthony Head's song "Turn the World Around."

When he calls from home it's a snippet from "Standing," or from a song called "Talk to Me" on ASH's Music for Elevators album. (I alternate them.)

When my son calls it's our Basset hound barking.

When anyone else calls, it's the last line of "Let the Monster Rise" from Repo: The Genetic Opera (yes, ASH again).

I guess I really like ASH. 🙂

It's not that easy, unfortunately. Apple have locked it into iTunes, which is the only way you can put anything onto it. If iTunes doesn't recognise it as it's own special ringtone format, it will show up to listen to as music, but not in the ringtone menu. There are ways around it, but it's something you have to go out of your way to do.

Thanks for the info - that will probably prevent me ever getting an iPhone, as I love having my own ringtones.
 
I think there are apps in the app store to make custom ringtones... Or there should be, I don't know, I don't have an iPhone because I was smart and got a droid. But that definately sounds like something there'd be many apps for.

I haven't been able to find the Buffy theme song on my Android phone, or I would have that!

I have "I'm Only Me" by Taylor Swift for my hubby.
My family and friends have "Undo It" by Carrie Underwood.
My in-laws have "Hicktown" by Jason Aldean. (Not an insult - I live in the same town!)

I like to hear different songs when my phone rings. Oh, yeah, and I like country music a little.
