Ok, so still bored!! What social media do you use? Why do you use what you do? Do you have different social media for different things or different people? What do you think of social media?
 
Just facebook for me, its causal and simple. Can't be doing with twitter and what not, it does have its values, but isn't for me. I have recently started a blog which should come in useful for my reviews.

It is what helps bring about the fall of mankind. It truly can bring out the worst in people... that being said- it's great for business!
 
I have Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr that I look at regularly, but I rarely post anything. I'm more of a social media lurker; I just don't feel the need to share a whole lot of my life on social media.

I have fb, but even that is just so that I can keep in contact with my friends from back home while I'm away at school. I don't get those who have like 2000 friends on there, like, do you even know these people?

I don't use anything, I don't like social media really.

Because you never know who may get it that you don't want getting it, and knowing things about you that you don't want known.

Yup. And also, does the Internet really need one more person sharing their opinions, activities and pictures? There's more than enough of that already.

Boy me and you have more in common all the time!😛 I have about 49 friends on facebook a mixture of friends, family, and people I know a little bit, and that seems about right to me.
 
I have Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Instagram I hardly ever use. Occasionally flick through if I'm bored. Twitter I look at but don't really contribute. It's come in handy a few times for gig updates and a few breaking news stories.

Facebook I use a bit more often. I'm connected with about 100 people. Friends, family and acquaintances. If I don't know people I don't add them. It's handy for organising events, group messages and things like that. I don't share an awful lot of what I'm up to but I do find myself sharing opinions, mostly on politics recently. I also follow an excellent political blog on there.

This place is where I'm most active online. I've found it a good place to not only discuss Buffy, which I don't really do in real life, but also to talk and think about a wide range of other stuff. To illustrate this perfectly I believe this is my 1000th post here! 😀
 
I have Facebook ( about 100 friends & family). Twitter for friends on and offline. Instagram for online and offline friends. That's about it.

I think social media can be a good thing but many use it to air dirty laundry so to speak. This I don't personally like reading.
 
I have Facebook, which pretty much only serves to piss me off most of the time, yet I don't get rid of it... Mostly it's just political rants, petty people whining about petty things, or activists positing horrible pictures of animal abuse. Whatever day you go on there, Facebook is never a pleasant ride... I hang around for the dog-pics I guess.

I have Instagram, which I use almost daily, or at least visit daily. I really like Instagram. Food pics, animals pics and nature pics... what more do you need? It soothes my soul 😀

I sometimes have Twitter. Twice I've tried, twice I've deleted. It's just something I never use and never really seem to get the hang of.

I have FB and Twitter, which Nix already knows 😉 and I have a Tumblr. That's about it. Does LJ count as social media? I have one of those, lol.

I use FB and Twitter a lot less than I used to, for reasons that escape me lately, lol. I just don't really have anything to tweet lately.

You know, I signed up for one 3 or 4 years ago so I guess I technically have one, although I haven't looked at it in years. I liked it for a while but then it got overwhelming with the amount of content it had. Do you have one?

Out of the lot I probably use Twitter the most. I use it to talk to friends and to talk about news and happenings in my area. It's hard to explain, but Scottish Twitter (and their accounts) is really funny.

Facebook is awful. The absolute worst. I use it to post pictures and the odd political post. I mainly use Facebook for groups - as in, I'm a part of a few Facebook groups, similar to forums, relating to health issues, mummy boards etc.

I'm pretty much addicted to Instagram. I don't really follow any famous people, friends, artists and animals accounts! (I'm looking at you, @Taake!).

Ah LJ, I had a DJ, remember when everyone mostly used that before FB and all the others came around. I mostly use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I use them to keep up with my friends and family who are spread all over, I even have my Dad on Facebook which is amusing as he loves a good rant.

Given the nature of my work I don't tend to use them professionally.
