For me, the four lines I quoted moreso than the entire song is why I regard it as My song.

A song I used to listen to alot when I first moved away from home was L.A. by Amy Macdonald, mainly because of the following lyrics:

It would be interesting to try and psycho-analyse it 😀 my interpretation is I had a happy childhood, more or less, didn't ever expect it to end and have to grow up, then suddenly I find its all changed, I have to grow up and find my own way in life, something like that I guess 🙂
