Well this thread is stolen from @Kean ( Hope this thread is ok?)

So I thought we could all posts what our Spangel is like? I think that each individual shipper has their own specific idea of what their ship is. So post what you love about them, what you wish for them...anything at all. You can type, post art, vids, whatever. Just tell us what your Bangel is.

So I love the Spuffy relationship because Spike and Buffy both never really knew (till the end) what they really wanted. This relationship was so full of drama. Hate vs. Love and disappointing fights against the new raising hope! That was so great. Spike gave Buffy everyting, did everyting for her. But he still knew that he will never get her. Very heroic. Sometimes I feel very sorry for him.

The following video is not a Spuffy video, in fact there are just 2 or 3 scenes with them. But these are some scenes which shows pretty good what the relationship was for me. An endless fight, with victims. And the hole video shows that Spike fighted for Buffy, very hard, he gave up everything. He's a fighter. May this video is no good start 😀 but anyway. For me the Spuffy relationship was a fight.

Quote: (This is not a original Quote, I just translated it from German into English)
Last scene of Buffy and Spike in season 7
Buffy: I love you...
Spike: No, you don't. But it was nice from you to say it!

I love Spike and Buffy because I believe with all my heart that they are meant to be together, and what I wish for them is that just that will happen 🙂

Your not the only one!
I've loved Spuffy from my first full watch of Buffy and I've never turned back. I find myself turning to their story very often. Whether I use them as inspiration for drawing or to find comfort in an episode featuring them, or in a really well written fanfic.

I feel a strong connection to both of the characters individually and I like what they can be to each other, if only they'd let themselves.

Especially in season seven. They have a really great partnership and that's what I think is important in relationships. The person you are with should be able to help you when you need it. They should know what you are going through and know you well enough to really understand how you need help at that time. And Spike does that for Buffy beautifully and she does it for him too. I just love it.

Yes. Totally agree. Spike was always there for Buffy when she needed him. But was Buffy always there when Spike needed her? At least when he was living all mad in the school-underground, for example? Was she?

No, she wasn't. Or, at least we never saw it if she was. (I've always imagined that she at least brought him some fresh blood regularly, once she knew that he was there. Knowing that he was down there living on rat, I don't see how she possibly couldn't, after telling Dawn that she "felt" for him, but we never saw or even heard reference to in anywhere) And she really should have been. Possibly that was part of what she was thinking when she actually did find out about his soul. You can't fault her loyalty for him after that, even after he tried to attack Dawn. She stood by him despite the protests of family, friends, and Potentials, and in the end was proven right in doing so (which, by the way, I sincerely hope that she made a very special point of reminding everyone, once the dust settled around the crater that used to be Sunnydale) The phrase "Too little, too late" comes to mind there, but, hopefully, we can add an "Almost" to the front of it.

Sorry, my English is on a too low level. I can't really translate this sentence. Does it mean that you excuse Buffy for "not always beeing there for Spike" or do you want to say that she was there when he needed her?

Buffy was there for Spike pretty much all of Season 7. Not very much before that.
