What is your taste in men/women (the ones you're attracted to)? What are you looking for in your mate?
 
my boyfriend is extremely tall, I'm 6ft 1 so he's got to be, he's caring,loving and generous and brings out the best in me. We never argue but we do bicker. He's also older.
 
Physically? Tall, broad shoulders, solidly built and a cheeky smile.

In terms of personality and temperament? Intelligence, wit, compassion, self-assured and empathetic. But most off all, decency. You'd be surprised how rare that one trait is to find.

If anyone knows this man, please send him my way 😛 (sw)

You almost exactly described my boyfriend :P too late, he's mine!
Basically just two qualities for me....

Intelligence
Nonjudgemental

I don't know why these are so important but for some reason they are.
 
I like "good eyes". When you can tell that that someone has a deep soul (is there such thing?). Not sure how to explain it. He can be a bad boy from outside, but if he has "good eyes"... (like Spike, I think. He's a bad boy from the outside, but if you look into his deep blue eyes, you can tell he's a good loving guy who will love you more than anything, though my guys don't have to be blondes. Not to sound racist, because it's not and I'm not, but I'm also very attacted to shaved head black guys, especially if they have "good eyes").

Did anything from what I said made sense??

Oh, and a sense of humor is VERY important as I'm a comical person myself.

Well. First and foremost, Needs to make me laugh and have a good heart. That's the prerequisites for me.

My husband has both of these. We've been together seven years now and he can still make me crack up over the most crazy things. We'll be in the middle of a huge fight and then he says something ridiculous and I'm laughing so hard I can't breath.

Actually, a lot of people have approached me asking why I am with him. And it's for a totally ridiculous reason: Because he's a little overweight and I'm a twig.

So instead of glaring at people for asking I always say: "Oh he makes me laugh, like nothing else on this Earth."

Humor, intelligence, lack of romantic and monogamous idea(l)s. Not being heterosexual also helps, a lot.

Being a pale, slightly freckled redhead with green eyes is just a bonus. No, really. Okay, a huge bonus. 😉
 
wit and humor and quirkiness and then there are little things that I just find super sexy, like being able to raise one eyebrow at a time. that'll pretty much seal the deal for me.

I love someone who is intelligent but that loves to laugh and be goofy and silly with me. I'm not a shallow person, so looks don't matter so much to me; I've dated a lot of men who weren't considered "hot" by a lot of people. I've also been attracted to some women that most people probably wouldn't be... Personality means a lot to me.
 
Appearance isn't the most important thing when you love someone, but I definitely am more attracted to brunettes and redheads. 😛 Also green eyes... I love them!

As far as personality goes... Open-mindness, self-confidence(even a little arrogance), humor, intelligence, positiveness and honesty are what I look for.
 
Hmm. All the guys I've dated have looked different, so I don't know if I have a "type."

The guy I'm interested in now is pretty tall, gothy, and androgenous-looking. I used to see him around town all the time, but honestly thought he was a women so I nerved approached him. I think he's really attractive, though. He has long hair and dresses pretty metrosexual. I guess it's hard to tell with those guys. I posted an I Saw U personal ad about him, and he read it surprisingly, and we got together. We've hung out a couple times. I like him a lot. 🙂

For me, though, personality is important. Hes got to be open-minded and honest. I appreciate confidence.
 
I go for guys that are arrogant, self-involved, selfish, a little bit nasty, hung up on other ladies, or people that are totally inappropriate.

They generally have dimples and a killer smile.

I'm a sucker for the extremely attractive dorky guy. I love it when a guy isn't afraid to be a dork and of course I love it when they look attractive, love both dark and light hair but I tend to go for the tanned men 😉 oh and green eyes....it's a done deal if your eyes are green boys 😉

Oh and I'm a sucker for a man in uniform...
 
I like stockier men, I dont find skinny men attractive at all. They have to look strong, thats such a turn on. I want to be treated right, and while my current boyfriend isnt perfect, he is perfect for me. He treats me like an absolute princess and is very respectful. He deals with my ups and downs really well and is one of the most caring people I have ever met. For me those traits are so important.

OK, but if you fins some <i>more</i>, my way? K? :p Also, I so hear you on the skinny thing, I like guys to look imposing, but not be imposing. If that makes sense.
I am all for fun. Being fun is possibly the best, most attractive quality someone can have in my opinion, because most very fun people are confident at least some of the time, and they're generally nice and have a good sense of humor.

Physically, dark hair is really the only thing I nitpick. It's a very rare blonde that I'm attracted to- seriously, I can count blondes I find cute on one hand. I like dark hair. A lot.

(I am so happy my girlfriend is all of this and a lot more).

I like them tall with broad shoulders and dark haired. Also, tanned. Yum. As for personality: funny, easy going, nice, no jealousy whatsoever. I hate the jealous type.

I tend to like intelligent, nerdy guys who are passionate about music and who make me laugh. They tend to be posh as well for some reason, but that's never an intentional thing.
