Your taste in men/women

Someone who can make me laugh. And I'm not talking about someone who's funny, but someone who can make me laugh like I never laughed before. Someone who's not afraid to take my hand in the public, but not someone who's a total sweetheart, but someone who has a bad side as well. Someone who's honest, and has ambitions. Ambitions and dreams are very important. And someone who can come up with romantic gestures and say the right things in the right time.

And as Brooke said, it's very, very important that those guys never meet each other. 😀

tz tz tz. poly arrangements are cool, as long as you're honest about them. :p
I'm attracted to playfulness too.

You know what's funny though, often we have these lists, in our head or whatever, of what we're attracted to, and then sometimes, we meet someone who meets none of the criteria and yet, we're drawn to them.

strange.

For truth. It took my husband a year to convince me that I was attracted to him. 😀

And then about three years after I got married I met this guy that was basically everything that I would have imagined myself with. But, nope, wanted the hubby. 🙂

Brains are HAWT!! A sense of humor is HAWT!!

A women must have BOTH. That is not negotiable. I was talking to a beautiful, intelligent woman a few weeks ago. The conversation flowed, but there was absolutely no sense of humor in there. None. She was way too serious. It drove me crazy!!

Of course I could have just answered the question by saying "Willow." 😛

I need someone who matches me. Someone who can keep up and challenge me physically and mentally. That typical surfer guy type body is my ideal (lean, v shaped, nice abs). I prefer dark hair and light blue/green eyes. Symmetrical, attractive face. I have to have a guy with a decent vocabulary who is witty. Also, I am high-strung, so my man has to be really easy going.

In short, my husband.

I'm kind of introverted, so ALL of the guys I have ever dated are the cocky kind that went after me.

Never lasts, though.

What I want is someone with intelligence, integrity who gets sarcasm and is ok with the more biting type of humor. I love to verbally spar with people, and I'd fall madly in love with a man who can hold his own in that regard and is not threatened by my mind or personality.

I have a thing for guys with long hair. I find long hair on men incredibly sexy. I do go more for personality with guys but the hair helps 😛

I'm a sucker for Geek/Nerd...but really it's personality that does it for me...I don't have a "type" but tall helps when we are talking about men lol.

honestly it's all about the chemistry...you feel it. and sometimes it surprises you.

I think we're more like animals than we think... we just think we use our brains a lot.

You are SO right!
Being that I'm gay, yet still find women very attractive...

Guys: I'm 5'5" so they gotta be taller than me. I have this thing with body size; I find very skinny people and very fat people unappearling to my tastes - so they either have to be toned or having a little chunk. Aside from that, I don't care.

Girls: I like strong women. Take any of the girls from The Bad Girls Club on Oxygen or any of the WWE Divas and there ya go.

What I Look For In A Partner: Must have a car, must have a job, must not do drugs, must not play head games... you'd be surprised how hard this is to find.

and BTW: i've never dated in my race. not that i find other caucasians unattractive, just that I've always ended up dating African or Puerto Rican lol

There's something extremely attractive to me about lightheartedness and intensity.... a person who doesn't take themselves so seriously, who wears life like a loose garment rather than a straight jacket....but also, there's fire and passion in their eyes.

I love it.

I tend to be attracted to cute, shy, reserved, quirky girls. This isn't necessarily my ideal type, just the type to which I'm attracted. Unfortunately, we either don't end up "clicking", or she decides she just wants to be friends (or I unwillingly scare her away). I would rather be attracted to a girl who is more outgoing, open-minded and not afraid to speak her mind. I was once attracted to this type of girl, but she also had a boyfriend, wasn't attracted to me, and was quite immature. So, I'm still looking for a good match for me.

What attracts me most at first sight: Shy and cute. Cute to me since we can think very differently about that it means to be cute. I find the girl in the corner trying to hide/don't care about others much more appealing than the loud girl in the center of attention. Even though those girls can be totally hot.

In the long run chemistry is the trick. Without it, it really doesn't matter what else you got going for you. Friends and lovers at the same time. Honesty is also very important to me. Someone to keep me in check and push when it's needed without being bossy.

And the ability to take me for who I am, bad sides and all.

Look wise? Asians usually have a head start. Or if they look like a cross between Natalie Portman and Keira Knightely. Past experiences show that it's enough if I think she looks like that and not themselves.

I love this! Yes, absolutely.

I seem to be attracted to boys who are confident, borderline arrogant. Tattoos are good. Generally have no respect for anybody but themselves (especially me) and are only interested in having a good time. Smoking, skateboards, piercings, that kinda stuff.

this is sad to me. I feel like you deserve more.
At first, tall because I am. I like really, really thin boys. With dark hair. And they should play guitar.

Believe, I met that guy. But now he's dating my best friend. 🙁

My taste in men has changed pretty drastically since I found my husband. I used to be a fan of long-haired "rocker" men. You know the ones I mean. They wear black, are mostly thin, sometimes paint their nails, and live for music. To be honest most of the time they were Caucasian
Since falling in love with my Korean husband, I think Asian men are the epitome of cute. I try not to look at men in a sexual way, but when I do...they are strong and muscular like my husband. I feel like before I met my husband, men were just blah, and now when I see them I think of what they CAN be. I have a protector, a friend, a lover, a mathematician, a historian, an moral savior, and a superhero in so many other departments. So when I see a man most would label as attractive I often compare them to him, I mean how can someone so thin and obviously not strong be a protector? Or someone who says stupid things be intelligent? If I see them acting like jerks, I feel they don't have a strong set of morals. I haven't met very many people I would trust to fill all of the categories my husband does.
However, before y'all go thinking he's perfect...he's pretty G-damn nosy.
In fact, if you're reading this honey, *sigh* go wash the dishes or something.

I just have to mention that I like the skinny, non muscular type guys (though I have dated actual body builders). Whether a guy is built or not doesn't really catch my eye but attitude definitely does. I have to get the feeling that the other person really is open minded about other cultures, religions, orientations, races, political beliefs etc.
