We should turn this thread into a tournament to see who are the most loved and most hated characters in the Buffy verse. Every character starts at 0. When they're listed as a favourite, they get a point, when they're listed as a least favourite, they lose a point. The tournament would keep going and the points adjusted until a few days have passed with nobody voting (or until Halloween since that's a week away and people would have a whole week to put their votes in which is plenty of time). The results would then be tallied and then we'll have a list of the top 10 favourite and 10 least favourite characters as voted by the people of Buffy-boards.

As the thread title suggests, Buffy and Angel are not included. I'm only counting characters named and listed definitively as top or bottom 10 (other wise it would take forever). AU characters such as Vamp Willow I'm counting under regular Willow and Angelus comes under Angel so he's not included.

@DeadlyDuo Is there any way to take into consideration the position of the characters on the list? Like, number 1 gets 10 points, number ten only gets 1? It would probably eliminate the ties.

I did consider doing that (a bit like Eurovision lol) but I think it would over complicate things and would be a real headache trying to add up and work out. Also people don't necessarily order the characters on a scale of how much they like them plus what happens if you like two characters equally etc. It's difficult enough trying to keep the numbers straight the with add one, take one system without adding varying numbers to it lol.
