So I noticed some people getting a little off topic in a thread (*Lost Angel* and Zander) but I thought it was interesting. I wanna know what everyone's type is that they look for in a potential boy/girlfriend.

I'm generally attracted to the black, polynesian, asian boys. Mostly in that order too. I don't like blond hair. Right now, I'm into a Japanese/white guy... hes so cute. 😱
 
lol,cool,I dont really mind as long as they have a good personality,but good looks is a bonus,maybe tall,dark and handsome?lol
 
I like a wide variety, very open to just about anything-I am more into "how" a person is than anything else. I just like 'em all! But I have a fond appreciation for dorks! Don't ask me..........

I used to think I had a "type" but I have come to find that physically I don't. It used to only be guys with long hair and maybe a go-tee...which is what I married 😀 But then again I like the Spike type...So I guess the best answer would be that I love bad boys. The badder the better. But I'm picky on the type of bad too. I love Spike bad but he and the hubby are a lot alike in many wats so since everyone here knows Spike I would say that THAT is my type...
 
You guys have no idea....I always tease Rayne that her hubby is a total Spike...Rayne also reminds me of Willow.....hmmm....diffy combo.

I like girls that can make me laugh, and they're sweet and everything.
I love small girls, I think they're soo cute!
I basically just want someone who I can joke with, thats what I like! 😉

i like nice guys.. i just to like all sorts of different guys, one was ashy guy, who was cute, the other a bad as punker, and one that looked fairly normal(he is a lord of the rings fan.. 🙂) and one was a singer in a band..

now when i think of my sweety, then i do see the idel guy! he is cute! he has a great sence of humor!! he is sweet, he is kind, he is a good son, and brother! he's just right down adorable!! and he as dark hair, and he's fairly tall..*Sighs* my little dreamy boy LOL
 
I like guys who can make me feel like a person and not a sex toy. My current bf makes me feel like a person. He may not be cute but he has a good heart. I'm 16 and he's 19.

I love asian girls! The black long hair, small delicate looking bodies, and the curves (if the have them) surpass any ameriacn girl. I prefer mainly philliapenos. (think I spelt it right, sorry if I didn't). They're so hot!!! Don't get me wrong I also like 'American type' girls as well. but I 'dislike very much' the fake breasts and stuff like that.

I also 'dislike' smoking, drinking, punk types. I can't stand anyone who is too far below my 'above average' IQ. anyone almost, as smart, or smarter is just fine.

I want someone who has a good sense of humor and isn't always pissy.

I'm kinda the, how is it that you americans say it? the 'all american guy'.

except I'm the 'all Canadian guy'. which means I don't carry a gun, I'm in the cold weather alot, and I'm smarter. (all sterotypes).

all americans don't carry guns. Canadians arn't always in cold weather...but the smarter part??? eh??? lol.
 
I was wondering about him too. He didn't say anything that I could see about going anywhere...I hope he's ok...
 
I'd love to say that I go for lads with a great personality, but usually i go for what they look like. I like them tanned with dark hair and they have to be taller than me. You would not believe how hard it is for me to find a lad taller than me and I'm not even that tall, I'm 5'6. The lads I go for tend to be losers and i never end up in a serious relationship.

Well, I'm just gonna have to keep looking 😀

P.S. Soulgasm was on the boards this morning for about 2 minutes!

I just know it! 😉 I used to attract psychos...It was like flies on sh*t with them...finally I found a...well, ok, so I found a functioning psycho...but I'm happy now! 😛

Like you said Rayne, the bad boys are very appealing, they seem more fun 🙂 And you probably attracted guys like bees to flowers not flies to sh*t 🙂 Your hubby seems really nice, from what I've seen of him on the boards you two seem like the perfect couple. You seem well matched.

It's a bit of a pain at the minute coz most of my friends have boyfriends so I don't see that much of them. What I need is a fella....lol...
 
They have to have pretty eyes, be intelligent, rightous and caring. They come as one in a billion, so there's 6 or 7 of them around the globe 😉
 
I go for intelligent guys who I can have long conversations with. I also need someone who shares a few of my interests so we can be together most of the time. I need someone who wants closeness without suffocating me. I don't like guys who are all sunshine, I want to know when something pisses him off. I like someone who shares my sense of humor and can make me laugh but also knows when to take me seriously. I also like guys who are is self-confident without being arrogant. The guy of my dreams needs to stand by me even when I am wrong. He can tell me later in private when we're alone and when I've calmed down 😉

I like guys who are gentlemen, who hold the door for me or give me flowers every now and then. And they have to respect me as a woman and as a human being.

I don't like smokers, drinkers or guys who never wash, clean their teeth or cut their hair. And I hate tongue-piercings. (I mean, I really don't mind them as long as I don't have to kiss that person 😉 ). And he's got to be taller than I am (which is not too difficult).

Hmmm... I think that's it. 🙂
 
I like dark hair/dark eyes, but I don't really care. As long as the guy can make me laugh and gets my humor.
