What are some of the sweetest things a person has done for you?

I have had quite a few but I will give the one that made me think of this...My buddy that just joined the boards, Chasity, she threw me a baby shower for my last kid and she, along with two other girls, took me to get my hair done and to my favorite resturaunt (On The Boarder...GREAT mexican food ::drool:: ) and then to the party where they gave me so many beautiful gifts! They planed games and all kinds of wonderful things! Who else could have made it possibe for me to get the chance to see my mother in law blindfolded and chasing cotton balls with a giant spoon...Thanks for the memories beautiful! I had never had a friend do anything like that for me. I felt so loved...😉

that's pretty damn sweet...

at like wrestling camp....i didn't pay so i didn't get to eat...so like they all gave a little of their dinner to give me a meal...that was pretty damn sweet cause the bento wasn't that big to begin with...

Oh! How sad! How could they not feed you?! Well, it was nice of your friends anyway...
You should have just started randomly grabing people and chewing on their arms...maybe then they would have given you your own meal...😛

lol...that would've freaked some people out...but i wouldn't want the taste of sweaty teenage boy in my mouth....not cool...maybe if i started chewing on the few gurls on the team...perhaps...

Hahahahaha! The taste of sweaty teenage boy in your mouth...hahahahaha! I think I need to sleep. I'm getting wierd...

My best friend and my boy friend i had lost like a friend i was so sick i was in the hospital and i had alot going on well they gathered half my friends and my family and when i finally got to go home my friends had the biggest party and they all chipped in to get me what i wanted most season 2 of buffy and then my boyfriend got me 2 dozen roses and my best friend got me 3 balloons so i thought it was kinda sweet lol i dunno i also thought they were crazy

Awww, that IS sweet! Just the Buffy alone...
That is like the best gift I got for my birthday...I can never afford stuff like that so I had season one from my guy friend Joe and Season Two from my hubby I think and then couldn't find season 3 at the time but the most lovely Chasity also got me Buffy season 4 for my birthday this year. See, THAT is what makes you the girl for me Chas! You know how to please me! Hahaha! 😉

I don't have any really "aww, that's so sweet" moments. My friends are always there when I need them, and that's where all my moments kind of evolve around.

a while agoe, i was really sad, so to make me feel better my baby, went all the way into town, right before the stores closed and got me apresent... it was REALLY sweet of him, he got me a card too... *sighs-with dreamy look*

awwww. all mushy, i love it. rayne (still can't get used to calling you that) you are too sweet. but let me tell on you now.

every year for my birthday (last four years) she bakes me cookies or brings me chocolate fudge cakes and presents to my office-she brings her family with her and i love it

my ex also did the most romantic thing for me. i love bubble baths and he sent me to the store to pick something up and when i came back he had a hot bubble bath drawn with candles lit and a hershey kiss path leading all the way to the bathroom-he washed my hair for me and fed me kisses in the bathtub-too sweet i cried, but now he is a fjdklfaj;fkldjkfldjklf jerk!
( long story )
i actually have a lot of mushy moments that i could go on about with my family, friends, and rayne for a really long time, but i'll save the torture for you guys

ps rayne, i always tell this to you, if you were a guy, you would so be my type! luv ya

I cant think of one for myself, not saying my friends are crap or anything just never needed anything sweet done I suppose. But a friend of mine was going to the college we go to now, while all her friends were going to a different one so they all made a scrapbook for her so she can remember them. I found that sweet.

I've just been on holiday for two weeks and when I got back I went into my room and my mum and dad had but loads of banners and ballooons up saying Welcome Home. That was really sweet 😀

i just remembered another thing.. for my 19h b-day, one of my b-friends had BIg secrecy arounf what she was giving me.. everyone knew though, but not me! so when i opened the present, i saw a newspaper"fredrikstad blad" and the i opened the paper, and it said "hearts in pieces" by me.. well it had my name...) she had printed my poems ina real book, she had some one bind them, so my poetry is acualy existing in real books, only 2 copys🙂 i was so happy i cried!! i cried for a long time! i was a weeping mess!! 🙂*sighs*

Yeah, yeah, yeah...now you're making everyone think I'm actually a NICE person! Truth is I have a not-so-evil twin that does all those things! HA! It's not me! No sir!

Hey, maybe we were married in a past life Chas. So who would have been the b*tch? LOL!

Great stories guys! For all of you that don't think they have stories think harder! I'm sure there are some very obvious things...

OMG Chasity, that has to be one of the sweetest things I have ever heard a guy do for a girl........pity it obviously didn't work out, don't you hate that!?!

I think the sweetest thing for me was my sister throwing me a surprise 23rd birthday party. I used to love the colour pink and she asked me over to her house to watch Buffy (my sister is 1 happy convertee!) and i walked into her house and there were pink streamers covering the door to the living room and me being ditzy still didn't register anything i just walked through and there were all my mates and her mates and it was really cool, i started crying! We were drinking Creaming Soda and Vodka and everyone was dressed in pink and my sister bought me a pink top to wear. Pity it ended in distaster........but that is a completely different and agonising story!

One time, in my "Road Bum" days I was traveling down a deserted road in California, and this guy picked me up to give me a ride to the top of a mountain.

I was broke. I was like that guy you see in the cartoons where he pulls out his pockets, and moths fly out.

The guy told me this story, about how one time he was down on his luck and he met someone on the street who gave him twenty bucks, then told him to pay him back by getting back on his feet some day, and giving the twenty bucks to someone who looked like he needed it, then telling him the same thing.

The guy then gave me twenty bucks.

A couple years later I was driving a taxi in Vancouver and I picked up this girl who was on her way to the airport. Some guy she thought she was in love with, who her parents hated, had sent her a plane ticket to come be with him. He didn't send any money, so after she paid the cab fare, moths were flying out of her pocket.

I told her the story, gave her a free ride and the twenty bucks. She cried.

I'd say the sweetest thing anyone ever did for me was the guy who started the chain. I got paid twice.

Interesting sidebar: A couple of years later someone made a movie about this kind of thing. I sometimes wonder if the writer was someone on the chain.

Oh yeah, 'Pay It Forward'. nerd, that's the coolest thing to have happen. I wish someday I could be involved with something amazing like that. Awesome story.

I probably have a nice little story stacked away in my head, but I guess I just don't think of it enough to pull something out right now.

Well, the sweetest thing anyone ever did for me would have to be from the little boy I watch. One year for Christmas he got me a picture frame that says 'Love' on it. And when I opened it his mother told me there was a story behind the frame. She said she told him to pick out any frame that he wanted and he picked up that one. She said to him "Sweety, thats not to appropriate, it says love on it. Maybe another one." And he said "But mommy, I love Ashley." So I have a picture of him in it next to my bed now. Actually it has him, his little sister, and my two baby brothers in it..lol..my four 'loves'
