ooh oooh oooh!! BUFFY AND ANGEL!!

ahh ok anyway...

first and foremost music. i'd die without it. i took an intelligence test in my Contemporary Social Issues class. it had 8 categories of intelligence (more or less 'how you learn' or 'how you deal with issues' kinda thing...not IQ) and i scored highest in the musical category...i scored all the possible points i could. anything i do, im listening to music. i cant study or sleep without it. i cant be in a vehicle without it. and i love all kinds of music. the genre i like the least is country but there are even some country songs i really like. i think someone's taste in music really defines them as a person. and im off my soapbox now.

i also like tons of stuff with computers. mostly art stuff and web design. i run the team that runs my school's website and i'm in the process of making my own.

completely opposite of that, i love any very physical activity...running, swimming, hiking, dancing, sports. all of it. i have tons of energy all the time (its a curse) and that stuff is fun.

um, and i love boys. oh and chocolate. (and camping...and fireworks. tons of fireworks. ooh and i love to go boating and like water skiing. i like fire too. yup, that's it)

oh yes, and im also obsessed with Allen Iverson and big brother...and VG...but that's not really board appropriate

ooh oh and i like to watch our boy's soccer team. they're pretty much hott.

What interests you? ok um i love soccer.. i play soccer so thats one of my interests, and yes Dzhugashvili i do like Angel and Buffy.. but i also like other shows also like charmed, bones, firefly, tru calling, CSI, desperate housewives.. starting to get into the L word... i love DISNEY.. especially peter pan! and *tinkerbell*... hmm i like reading... sometimes shopping.. the beach.. im so lucky to live in a counrty with some of the best and beautiful beaches... yep Australia all the way! and of course Buffy Boards.. oh and cars.. for some reason im into cars right now 😉 Film and Tv... MUSIC...

What do you care about? my family, my friends.... the environment.. yeh some people say "you remind me of a hippy" i really do try hard to take care of it... and i also care about certain charities that i support too.. and i care about my school and career.. *argh dont remind me*

What do you spend time researching? stuff for school... basically.. or if im travelling accomadtion.. or pics and stuff for banners..

Well... why are we in this forum if we're not... at least a little, obsessed by BtVS ey?

So anyway... I'm really into anything about J.M. Barrie and what he wrote (the writer of Peter Pan, and no... not the Disney version... the original one)... I think he was a genius and it's a shame so many of his texts have been forgotten because they are so interesting and shrewd.. and the Disney version of Peter Pan makes it look like a stories for kids when the original text aimed at a adult audience as much as a kids' one... and I think everyone should read it... because it's so good, and show you things about adults that I think, are absolutely true and that most don't want to admit or don't take time to consider.
So yeah, I spend time reading biograhies, looking for his forgotten books and reading them, and I write my own stuff about what I think of it all, just for fun.

I'd say it's the biggest interest.. mhm

What interests you?

I'm interested in a lot of things, but usually I watch alot of documentary channels, especially anything to do with forensics, and crime, it's probably why I read alot of Patricia Cornwell, Kathy Reichs, Harlen Coben, James Patterson & Karin Slaughter. Also, life after death, and past lives, and I guess, most paranormal things. Also, I like to learn new things, most of which I find on the net, usually it's art or web design related.

What do you care about?

There are alot of things I care about but I will honestly say that there's nothing I care passionately about, other than the people close to me. I wish I did, but I just don't.

What do you spend time researching?

Past lives, paranormal, although these days, most of my research is done sort of spur of the moment, you know, you watch something that you then think, I'd like to learn more about that, actually more often than not, it's when I spot someone familiar in a film or TV show, and I want to know what else they have appeared in... very mundane I'm afraid.

The phrase, "I need to get a life" springs to mind right about now!

What interests you?

Hmmm. My interests are wide-ranging, and diverse.
Hockey (ice hockey for all you non-Canuckleheads). I play the game, but don't particularly follow the "pro" (NHL) game, except during the playoffs, or if my beloved Calgary Flames are playing.
Reading and literature. I am a voracious reader, and I try to read at least 40 books per year. I do re-read many of my favourites, including Lord of the Rings, Shogun, and George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, among others. I've recently embarked on a campaign to include a "classic" piece of literature in my reading every year. Past inclusions are the likes of The Three Musketeers, Don Quixote, and Ivanhoe, among others. Far from being a book snob, I am a collector of comic books, and I own some of the ones that, in my opinion, elevated the art form...like Uncanny X-men issues 100 to 137, written by John Byrne and Chris Claremont. I think you could make a case for this being literature, with a graphic component.
Science. I love the recent move to CSI shows...I'm a science junkie, and I just love to see where we are going next...not that I actually understand it...A Brief History of Time made my poor head hurt...
History. I like to research particular figures and see where they fit in, and where they have had their imprint on our modern world. Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Julius Caesar...

There is much more...but I'm getting boring...

What do you care about?

My kids, and Mrs. D, first and foremost. The rest of my extended family, my friends...which includes my friends here, as well...I see this internet thing as a way to make lots of pen-pals without the annoying stamps. Can you be true "friends" with someone you've never met? I think so, but that is a topic for another thread...

I care about my country, and its direction (or lack thereof). I despair at the ineffectual efforts of our elected leaders to improve the lots of anyone but themselves, and a citizenry that seems all too willing to follow them in their self-centeredness.

What do you spend time researching?

I think I already covered that somewhat. I do a lot of research in preparation to write stories. I think injecting as much reality in my stories is satisfying, not only to me, but I hope to my readers too...That is one of the reasons I loved Buffy and Angel...continuity for the characters was off occasionally, but any history they referenced was mostly well-researched and presented.
