(I'm posting this here rather in the "Collectibles" section simply because it isn't specifically designated as a "Firefly" replica)
For anyone interested in such things, I found this mentioned on a firearms forum that I occasionally visit. Please note that it is a REAL FIREARM, not a toy or model.

As noted, it is available in 45 Long Colt (which is, I believe, the chambering of the actual piece used on "Firefly," 44 Magnum, 357 Magnum, and 44-40. Fir anyone wanting a less expensive model, both in initial cost and cost of ammunition, there is also a 22LR model available. (The centerfire version, with brass frame, sells for around $900 to $1000, whereas the 22LR version ish more affordable $350 a much more affordable $350)
(A bit of trivia here for those members who aren't fans of old Western movies and TV series, the "Mare's Leg" handgun was originally carried in the "Wanted-Dead Or Alive" series starring Stave McQueen)
Once again, this is NOT A TOY, but a real, functioning firearm, and all legal restrictions will apply if you should try to purchase one.
