As for me, I got ANOTHER Del Taco burrito, Fanta orange soda, and more cheese puffs. It makes me happy, but it's kinda weird that I'm still losing weight with all of the junk I've been eating. 🐷

By any chance, did you manage to ingest a tapeworm in all of that junk food? Cedric, my tapeworm, died once I got married. Then, rumble, rumble, rumble poof! Instant weight gain.

I am starting the day feeling slightly broken from doing all the Christmas wrapping in one hit yesterday! Had a rough night sleep. Had to cancel this mornings activity as Abbs feeling rough (was going to do pottery painting in the village!). Going to have an extremely strong coffee (as always) and chat to a friend in a bit. Tonight me, Abbs and the girls are off out for our annual Christmas meal at a local is restaurant for Christmas dinner (well I'm having a burger as I don't like the food on offer!!).

Oh my Gawd, I'm done with burritos and quesadillas. So I went to KFC, got 4 pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and two biscuits. (With tax it came to nearly $30!) I'm going to cover the chicken and biscuits with maple syrup. 😁

I'm suddenly reminded of how my mother would get KFC for us, and she'd say, "I'm not really hungry, I don't want anything," But when she saw our chicken, the conversation went something like this:

Mom: That looks REALLY good. Give me a piece!
Us: But you said you weren't hungry.
Mom: I changed my mind.
Us: C'mon mom!
Mom: I paid for it, I'm getting a piece.

She also had a bad habit of snatching our fries after we went to McDonald's...

KFC’s prices are atrocious and have been for years. I remember watching a YouTube video properly roast the company way back in…2018? And they haven’t changed a stitch! 😂

KFC food is atrocious and has been for many years. Here are the proportions of the original 11 herbs and spices:

2/3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp basil
1/3 tsp oregano
1 tsp celery salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried mustard
4 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp ground ginger
3 tsp white pepper

Now, the formula is;

salt
pepper
flour
monosodium glutamate

His flagship franchise outlet was at Dundas and Tomken in Mississauga, not far from his home at 1337 Melton. He spent several years trying to get KFC to stop saying they use his eleven herbs and spices, but that failed and they are still fraudulently advertising it. The last two times we ate there, my daughter got sick, so this franchise is toast.

I revolted against my auto insurance company after they raised my rate twice in two years, despite my driving the same car and having no incidents. I got a quote that will save me $300/yr! I just wish I hadn't had to put every possible form of personal ID on the internet to get it. Fingers crossed that I don't get hacked, because they have everything but blood type now.😬

That is absolutely deliberate! Getting online quotes, though, is quick, but you have to put quite a lot of info in, and I think they check your credit score, too.

Loyalty is seen as a weakness to be exploited these days The notion that customer loyalty gets rewarded , which many of us grew up with , is no longer worth clinging onto . Transactional deal sluts get the rewards 😀 . I've been with the same mobile phone network since 1990 , the same electricity provider since 1998 . It earns me nothing . I recently discovered my mobile phone peeps have been charging me every month for a 'data boost' addon that I cancelled roughly 6 years ago 😀 . Cheeky buggers 😛 .

If you're in the US, sometimes your state insurance commissioner makes changes that reduce rates for some. Or maybe one company is actually rewarding good driving and loyalty!

It's Abbs 18th tomorrow!! I'm so proud of her and what she copes with daily and still fights on. She is an amazing girl (Bias I know lol). Can't believe it was 18 years ago that I was talking on here about it being my due date and then bam 3.15am tomorrow 18 years ago the waters broke! 8 hours later I had a beautiful baby girl! Time sure does fly by!!

Earlier this morning, I spontaneously decided to drive over to a friend's place to give her a Christmas gift. Didn't tell her I was coming, just went. I like sneaking up on people. 😈 Well, I'm the one who got a surprise because she wasn't there!

I was walking back to the truck when she suddenly called and asked, "Where are you?" I told her I'd popped by to give her a present but since she wasn't home, I left. She said, "I just pulled up in front of your place with your present! Didn't see the truck and almost went home." 😄😄

My day was great, until I got home to discover my upstairs neighbors had decided to eat some crappy pasta garbage. Then just pour it down their sink drain. Now my sink is backed up with their crap.

Hopefully the maintenance peeps will be out here tomorrow first thing to fix it (they’re usually great with this stuff as far as timeliness goes), but it’s still frustrating. Just glad that it happened now as opposed to during my vacation, otherwise I’d 100% come home to an overflowing sink and ruined carpeting. Certainly wish I knew who it was that did it though so I could give them a great big merry Christmas surprise up the A$$!
