The baby fish, Lorne and Doyle have discovered the filter outlet. Doyle especially, swims up and lets the current push him down and along the back of the tank. It's so cute and funny to see them doing zoomies. The other fish in the outside pond seem constantly hungry! Every time they hear the back door they come to the top and beg to be fed. Hook is like a shark, fully attacks and shakes his flakes. SO funny to watch!
I went down to the coast on sunday and my back is still suffering from the drive. I have had a busy week socialising. I didnt go for a walk on monday morning and two seperate neighbours came to check on me because they didnt see me go walkies. That is very sweet of them. A friend came for morning tea on monday too. I went to ministry today. I have another lady coming over tomorrow morning to show me the llama blanket she is working on - so I already regret tonights drinks. The pub has had a makeover and they have hell fancy lounges in the side bar. And a coffee machine! I hope it pays off for them, and maybe I should go over with a book one night to make it pay off, a little, for them. The last owners were good mates, but so over it. The new owners want to make it work. Pubs are a tough gig!
Going to go out to rake poop in the horse paddocks tomorrow. I am looking forward to that. The sun should be behind clouds. I can bag some up to bring to my home compost pile too. The big huge mare has to be moved, she is a very very sweet horse, but absolutely massive. The two three year olds have been nutso in the rain, but the one I call Dawnie loves a brush. She should be racing within the year and part of me wants to ask the owner if I can start prepping her because she is SO ready to be in work.
